I love Einsteins quote about Science and Religion and their mutual dependencies:
With this in mind I search for possible answers. With Quantum physics I found explanation to many theological mysteries. Study the Creation and you get an idea of the power of the Creator.
Why writing a new Genesis creation story (1-3)?
I have been following my grandfathers book “The arise of the world and human being” published in Freiburg, Germany 1907, searching for data for a “The creation of the world and human being 100 years later“,
I decided to do the same, studying and analyzing Genesis and the Quran Creation Surahs and write a illuministic Genesis Creation story. I write it as it could have been written with the knowledge, theories and hypothesis of our times. My Genesis is a Scientific idea of a continuous Creation process that integrates Christian and Muslim theology with Scinece. This post ended up to become my final answer to my grandfathers three questions.
The second reason is Filippo (Giordano) Bruno. He said in prison frustrated about the mind darkness and ignorance of clerics geocentrism of his time:I beg you God, say once again over the darkness of this Earth even long afer my death, your powerful verb:
“Let there be light!”
I have for long time seen the old Genesis Creation story as metaphore about the Creation where a a humble God tells about his creation as something made without much planning as made by an artist and magician.
“Bible scholars believe that Genesis was written by Moses, under inspiration of the Holy Spirit, during the forty years that the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness” ( 1450 – 1410 B.C.) (Source: www.allaboutcreation.org/ )
I think that 3400 years ago. it was for God important to tell a story that was easy to understand and remember for the people of the time of Moses, and easy to pass on to posterity by mouth and later by scripts. If it were written today, it would for sure have been written differently. I hope you will see like I came to do that Scientific observations and a belief in a God creator can coexist.

A imperfect body that is a natural history museum
If God created our body in the beginning why did God create it with imperfections and useless functions some of them even causing illnesses?
. Our body inherited characteristics we do not need, characteristics our ancestors had and needed where some gives us illnesses like:
- blood coagulation properties needed by Neanderthal but causing stroke in our body.
- energy production needed by Neanderthal but giving us diabetes.
Others are useless for humans like:
- Useless orangutang shoulder hairs
- Useless Embryo tail
- Useless Palmaris longus
- Useless auricularis superior, anterior and posterior
- Useless arrector pili causing Goose bumps

The discrimination of women that was part of the ancient cultures, became a dogma thanks to the Bible Genesis Creation story. Its translations was made by men that thought themselves as “inspired by God”.
So God, in Genesis (1-2) called Elohim, became masculine “He”. Paul used the Genesis Creation story to “proove” that the woman should stay at home, as I wrote about in www.kinberg.net/2018/03/15/silent-women/ The macho clerics obviously later could not allow women to become priests despite many women superiority. And during the witch hunt, many women died with the suspicion to be cooperating with the devil (as Eve did in genesis 2 misleading poor Adam)
Adam a bad example for men
Adam as he is described in the original Genesis was not a example of a leader that was intellectually superior to Eve. Eve was fooled by the devil, but Adam acted before thinking. I want to emphasize this in my Genesis Creation story.
Giordano Bruno is for me the first agnostic illuminist. This is the main reason I choosed to give my Genesis the name “Enlightened Genesis“. I hope Filippo will find it enlightened.
A better description
the validity of my hypothesis (that evolution developed billions (maybe a trillion) of species) is a better description of what we can observe than the non-validity of the hypothesis (that God created all billions of species exisiting today, among others 350,000 species of beetles and 8500 worms “the first six days”.)
With this Genesis , I upgrade God and Jesus to be much more than a artist and magician.
I have like Einstein a “unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it” and I understand it.
God and Jesus did
In the Bible and the Quran you frequently read “We did” instead of “I did”. While Muslims clearly say “God is one” despite the “We did”, the Christians adopted the idea of Trinity like God would be Three things. For me Jesus (in Arabic Isa) was created by God first of all. God and Isa then created the plan to create an image of God, together.
The name of God.
In Psalm 83 the name of God was originally written with the four hebrew consonants YHWH :
“Many people know that you God, whose name was ritten as YHWH . You alone are the Most High over all the earth. “.
Noone knows the exact pronounciation of the four consonants YHWH. Instead of writing the correct YHWH name, I prefer to use the gender neutral and most accepted name “God”.
In New International Version (NIV), the four consonants are translated into “the Lord” as God would be a man like in many paintings. Jesus often called God with the name elohim in hebrew/Aramaic or with the metaphore “My father” probably protecting Mary from accusations for adultery. In e.g Genesis you read “He called” “He separated” where “He” is a misleading translation from the original Hebrew text “elohim”. God is not a person and does not have a gender. It was for a reason one of the biblical and quranic laws was “Do not make idols or set up an image” like e.g. Michelangelo did in his “Creation of Adam“.
God is all knowing
God, being a all knowing God, knew that Adam were to become a wrong-doer. Like children learn to go by falling and staying away from fire getting hurt, so homo sapiens to become images of God, have to make mistakes, be led by God through messengers to behave like good humns. So humans have to suffer to develope empatic intelligence and learn to love.
Biblical NIV and Quranic translations
The title and subtitle of my grandfathers book were “How did the world and human kind arise?” and “Did God create the world from nothing? Did Adam and Eve have ancestors?”
As I said above, Rereading his questions, I understood that this enlightened genesis is my final answer
We can not proove that a Creating God really exists. As We can not see the invisible. So we can only feel about and believe in a God.
Tje Buddhists say that the existence of God is not a intresting issue. It is more important how you behave. But if you are trying to know about a Creator read Romans 1:20-22: “For his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward,“
Paleoanthropologists and Darwin did
( “Travel through the land and observe how He began creation. Then Allah will produce the final creation. Indeed Allah, over all things, is competent.” ( Quran 29:20)
As Einstein said
Religion without Science is blind
Science without religion is lame.

The Beginning from Genesis 1:1-24
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
6 And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” 7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.
9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. 10 God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.
11 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day.
14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. 16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.
20 And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” 23 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day.
24 And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds:the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
(ed. Verse 25 is about God resting)
About mankind from Genesis 1:26-31
26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
27 So God created mankind in his own image,
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.
31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.”
About Adam and Eve from Genesis 2:4-25
4 This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, when the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.
5 Now no shrub had yet appeared on the earth[a] and no plant had yet sprung up,for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no one to work the ground, 6 but streams[b] came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground. 7 Then the Lord God formed a man[c] from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
8 Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. 9 The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
10 A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters. 11 The name of the first is the Pishon; it winds through the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold. 12 (The gold of that land is good; aromatic resin[d] and onyx are also there.) 13 The name of the second river is the Gihon; it winds through the entire land of Cush.[e] 14 The name of the third river is the Tigris; it runs along the east side of Ashur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.
15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”
18 The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
19 Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals.
But for Adam[f] no suitable helper was found. 21 So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs[g] and then closed up the place with flesh. 22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib[h] he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
23 The man said,
“This is now bone of my bones
24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.
25 Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.”
1 “Adam made love to his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said, “With the help of the Lord I have brought forth[ a man.” Later she gave birth to his brother Abel.
Now Abel kept flocks, and Cain worked the soil. In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the Lord. And Abel also brought an offering—fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The Lord looked with favor on Abel and his offering, but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast.
6 Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? 7 If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”
8 Now Cain said to his brother Abel, “Let’s go out to the field.” While they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him.
9 Then the Lord said to Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?”
“I don’t know,” he replied. “Am I my brother’s keeper?”
10 The Lord said, “What have you done? Listen! Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground. 11 Now you are under a curse and driven from the ground, which opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. 12 When you work the ground, it will no longer yield its crops for you. You will be a restless wanderer on the earth.
13 Cain said to the Lord, “My punishment is more than I can bear. 14 Today you are driving me from the land, and I will be hidden from your presence; I will be a restless wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me.”
15 But the Lord said to him, “Not so; anyone who kills Cain will suffer vengeance seven times over.” Then the Lord put a mark on Cain so that no one who found him would kill him.”
Adam Creation from Clay in ( Quran 6:2)
“It is He who created you from clay and then he decreed a term and a term specified with him yet you are in doubt”
God and the angels about Adam in quran.com 2:30-36
30 And when said your Lord to the angels, “Indeed, indeed I am going to place in Earth a viceregent” They said, “Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?” Allah said, “Indeed, I know that which you do not know.”
31 And He taught Adam all the names (of everything) , then He showed them to the angels and said, “Tell Me the names of these if you are truthful.”
32 They (angels) said: “Glory be to You, we have no knowledge except what you have taught us. Verily, it is You, the All-Knower, the All-Wise.”
33 He said: “O Adam! Inform them of their names,” and when he had informed them of their names, He said: “Did I not tell you that I know the Ghaib (Unseen) in the heavens and the earth, and I know what you reveal and what you have been concealing?”
34 And (remember) when We said to the angels: “Prostrate yourselves before Adam.” And they prostrated except Iblis , he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers.
35 And We said: “O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in the Paradise and eat both of you freely with pleasure and delight, of things therein as wherever you will, but come not near this tree or you both will be of the Zalimun (wrong-doers).”
36 Then the Shaitan (Satan) made them slip therefrom (the Paradise), and got them out from that in which they were. We said: “Get you down, all, with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment for a time.”
