Kumquat in brandy

I got a kumquat tree to my garden an d I decided to make my second Kumquat in brandy cook.  I had no brandy and money to buy it I spiced with with 99% alcohol I had it my home.

I did it this way:

This is my kumquat plant with ripe kumquats 
The tree had 580 gram kunquat fruits

 

I picked all the fruits with a fork to allow sugar and fruit liquid to move out and in

 

I let the fruits be in boiled water 1 minute to kill fungii spores No image with this fruit cleaning process.
I covered the fruits with water and boiled the fruits with 600 ml sugar 
The 600 ml sugar I made the firts boil with. I boiled the fruit  tender for 30 minutes.
After the first 30 min cook, I separated the tender fruits from the liquid.
I put the ligquid (it is very tasty) in a bottle to be placed in the refrigerator to be used later as a flavour in sprinkling water.
I prepared a syrup with 1 liter water and 1 kg sugar.
I covered the cooked fruits with the syrup I made and let the frutis cook for another 40 minutes.
I  cleaned 4 empty glass  containers,

added 2 spoons 99% alcohol in each one and closed the containers. 

 
The containers with the kunquat in alchol are kept for 2 weeks in room temp.  

the Earth for the righteous

The Jehovah’s witness Kjell N held the speech “The Earth shall last forever” February 17 in Göteborg.

I decided to share the transcript of a similar speech held in Italian by Michele S. February 25 2018 on Lipari, the Aeolian Islands. I will make this aricle public when Michele has approved the transcript.

È interessante vedere che quando Dio creó la terra e tutto ció che c’era sulla terra,  alla fine concluse con :  “Ed era molto buono”

leggete   Genesi 1:31: “Allora Dio vide tutto quello che aveva fatto, ed ecco, era molto buono.  E si fece sera e si fece mattina, il sesto giorno.

La terra su cui viviamo era qualcosa di molto buono.

Quando Dio generó questo pianeta Dio aveva uno scopo. Dio Jehova diede agli uomini che aveva creato, questo luogo come dimora permanente.

Infatti   Salmio115:16 dice che mentre i cieli appartengono a Jehova, la terra l’ha data ai figli degli uomini. 

Quanto ai cieli, appartengono a Geova, ma la terra l’ha data ai figli degli uomini.

Il modo come é fatta la terra, dimostra che Dio l’ha fatta apposta per noi.

Gli scienziati studiando il sistema terrestre che ci cinconda,  hanno notato che é qualcosa di veramente straordinario. È un vero gioiello nel suo genere.

Molti scienziati rimangono sbalorditi dei meccanismi che scoprono nella struttura e condizione della terra e dicono che é stata fata propio per la vita e per noi.

Questo corrisponde a quello che la Bibbia dice in Isaia, capitolo 45: 18. Vediamo espresso cosa era nella mente di Dio, il desiderio per la terra:

Questo è infatti ciò che dice Geova, il Creatore dei cieli, il vero Dio, colui che ha formato la terra, che l’ha fatta e l’ha stabilita solidamente che non l’ha creata senza scopo,* ma l’ha formata perché sia abitata:

Geová non parla di distruggerla. Non é stata creata senza uno scopo o a caso. Ma l’ha stabilita unicamente perché possa essere abitata.

The bible and scientists about the planet earth

It is interesting to see that when God created the earth and everything on earth,

he finally concluded with a phrase like this: “And it was very good”

read Genesis 1:31: “Then God saw all that he had done, and behold, it was very good, and it was evening and it was morning, the sixth day.” ( 1 )

The land we live on was something very good.

When God created this planet God had a purpose. God Jehova gave to the men what he had created, this place as a permanent home.

In fact, Psalm 115: 16 says that while the heavens belong to Jehova, the earth has given it to the sons of men.

“As for the heavens, they belong to Jehovah, but the earth has given it to the sons of men.” ( 1 )

The way the earth is made, shows that God made it especcially for us.

Scientists studiating the Earth system have noticed that it is something truly extraordinary. It is a true jewel of its kind.

Many scientists are amazed by the mechanisms they discover in the structure and the condition of the earth and they say that it is suitable for life and for us. This corresponds to what the Bible says in  Isaiah, 45: 18.

We see expressed what was in the mind of God for the earth:

“This is indeed what Jehovah says, the Creator of the heavens, the true God, the one who formed the earth, who made it and established it firmly that did not create it without purpose, * but has it formed to be inhabited: “ ( 1 )

Jeghovah  does not talk about destroying it. It was not created without a purpose or by chance. But it has been established solely to be inhabited.

La terra rimane per sempre.

La terra é abitata ´non solo da uomini ma anche da altri forme di vita.

Ma alcuni dicono che la terra prima o poi dovrá pure scomparire come sono sccomparsi altri corpi celesti lungo la strada. Ma la Bibbia dice diversamente a questo proposito. Vediamo Ecclesiaste, capitolo 1 verso 4 che ci fa riflettere.

Il verso dice:
Una generazione va e una generazione viene ma la terra rimane per sempre.

La parola “sempre” ci da l’idea di qualcosa che non finisce mai, quindi lo scopo per Dio non era che un giorno dovesse scomparire ma che doveva durare per sempre tanto che l´ha strutturata con complessi cicli e meccanismi per farla perdurare.

Per esempio, la terra si trova proprio all giusta distanza dal sole in modo che riceva l´energia necessaria per la vita. Se fosse un poco troppo vicina, la vita scomparirebbe per il troppo calore. Se fosse un poco piú distante la vita scomparirebbe per congelamento.

Inoltre la terra ruota intorno al sole proprio alla giusta velocitá. Ruota sul proprio asse ogni 24 ore con la giusta inclinazione.  Questo permette che ci siano giorni con ore di luce e notti con ore di riposo, cosa che  a sua volta permette alle varie forme di vita di sussistere. 

Pensate,  alcuni dicono che hanno scoperto pianeti molto simili alla terra, simili ma non uguali. Alcuni fanno un giro intorno alla propria stella in due ore, altri in 4 ore, altri in anni. Questo significa  che il giorno potrebbe  durare due ore o potrebbe duare piu di cento anni. Questo non permette di fatto la vita. Invece la terra l’ha fatta con la giusta inclinazione in modo che ci siano anche le stagioni per permettere la vita . Se non fosse cosí avremmo parti sulla terra con temperature molto elevate sui 100 gradi e altre con temperature molto basse sui 0 gradi. Se fosse così, potremmo vivere solo su una piccola parte della terra. Grazie all’inclinazione abbiamo anche un clima in continua evoluzione.

Inoltre la terra é della massa e gravitazione,giusta che aiuta a mantenere l’atmosfera intorno a noi. Con una massa troppo piccola l’atmosfera sparirebbe nello spazio. Se la terra fosse troppo grande avremmo una atmosfera troppo densa per poterla respirare. Giove che é molto piu grande ha un’atmosfera di metano che é irrespirabile.

La terra riesce a mantenere una atmosfera che é respirabile e  che allo stesso tempo ci protegge da meteoriti.

Inoltre, l’atmosfera riesce a tenere una grande quantità di acqua. Se non ci fosse questa capacitá, avremmo una terra arida. Scienziati dicono che in altri pianeti forse c’é acqua e quindi vita. Ma finora sappiamo che vita c’é solo qui perché Dio ha creato ogni cosa nella giusta maniera.

E non solo. La cosa bella é che quest’acqua ci permette di produrre non solo cibo per nutrirci ma anche cibi vari per cui possiamo provare piacere in quello che mangiamo. Ci sono mele rosse e mele verdi. A cosa servono questi colori? È per il nostro piacere di vederli e non solo per il gusto.  E tutto si riproduce ogni stagione. Dobbiamo veramente ringraziare Dio Jehovah.

Con la vista possiamo veramente apprezzare la bellezza che sta intorno a noi. Guardare per esempio una notte stellata ci lascia col fiato sospeso. O possiamo vedere panorami come qui a Lipari che se ne vedono di spettacolari dove si rimane a bocca aperta soprattutto la prima volta.

 
 The earth remains forever.

The earth is inhabited ‘not only by men but also by other forms of life.
 
 But some say that the earth sooner or later will disappear as other celestial bodies have done. But the Bible says otherwise in this regard. We see
Ecclesiastes 1:4  makes us reflect. 
 
The verse says: A generation is going, and a generation is coming,But the earth remains* forever.” ( 1 )

The word “always” gives us the idea of something that never ends so the purpose for God was not that one day it should disappear but that it should last forever so the earth  has therefore been built with complex cycles and complex mechanisms to make it live  in ethernity.
 
 
For example, the earth is just at the right distance from the sun so that it receives the energy necessary for life to exist on earth. If it were a little too close, life would disappear because of too much heat. If it were a little further away, life would disappear by freezing.

 The earth revolves around the sun at the right speed. It rotates on its axis every 24 hours with the right inclination. This allows there to be days with hours of light and nights with hours of rest, which in turn allows the various forms of life to subsist. 

Some say they have discovered planets very similar to the earth, similar but not the same. Some planets turn around their star in two hours, others in 4 hours, others in years. This means that the day could last two hours or it could last for more than a hundred years. This does not actually allow life. Instead the earth has been made with the right inclination so that there are also seasons to allow life. If it would not be like this we would have very high temperatures on one part of the earth and on another part we would instad have very low temperatures around  0 degrees Celsius.That would allow us to live well only on a small part of the earth. The inclination gives us a constantly chaning climate with winter and summer. 

Furthermore, the earth has  the right mass and gravitation, which helps to keep the atmosphere around us. With a too small mass and gravitation, the atmosphere would disappear in space. If the earth instead were too big, we would have a too heavy atmosphere to breathe. Jupiter, which is much larger, has a methane atmosphere that is unbearable. 

The earth manages to maintain a atmosphere that is breathable and at the same time ebing a shield that protects us from meteorites.

Furthermore, the atmosphere manages to keep a large amount of humidity and water. We would have dry lands without this capacity of the atmosphere. Scientists say that in other planets there is perhaps water and therefore life. But until now we know that water is available only here on earth because God has created everything in the right way. 

 
And not only. The nice thing is that this water allows us to produce not only food to feed ourselves with but also various foods so we can feel pleasure in what we eat. There are e.g. red apples and green apples and different kind of vegetables. What are these colors for?  These colors gives us a visual pleasure. And everything is reproduced every season. We really have to thank God Jehovah for all this.

With our eyes  we can really appreciate the beauty that is around us.Watching for example a starry night leaves us breathless. When we  see landscapes like here on Lipari that you remain astonished especially the first time you see these.

un patto  con Dio

La Bibbia parla di patti di Dio del giorno e della notte. Che idea ci danno questi patti di Dio?

In pratica un patto é una cosa che uno fa affinché le cose continuino. In questo caso abbiamo un patto sulla notte e il giorno che questo continui nel tempo. Dio voleva che le cose continuassero cosÌ.  Questa bellezza non doveva essere temporanea.

Facciamo un breve ragionamento. Se qualcuno di voi fa una bel quadro,  una villetta bellissima o un bel mobile, pianifichereste che ciò che avete creato venga distrutto dopo un anno? Ovviamente non esiste un tale ragionamento.  Pensereste magari invece che ció che avete creato, rimarrá. Una cosa cosi bella come la terra, si puó pensare che Dio l’ha creata per poi distruggerla?

Quando Jehovah creó il primo uomo e la prima donna espresse quale era il suo proposito in Genesi 1:27 con queste parole:

E Dio creò l’uomo a sua immagine, lo creò a immagine di Dio; creò il maschio e la femmina. Quindi li benedisse e disse loro: “Siate fecondi e moltiplicatevi, riempite la terra e soggiogatela, e abbiate autorità sui pesci dei mari, sulle creature alate dei cieli e su ogni creatura vivente che si muove sulla terra”

 

 a covenant with God

The Bible speaks of God’s pacts of the day and night. What idea do these pacts of God give us?

In practice, a covenant is a thing that one does to keep things going. In this case we have a pact on the night and the day that this will continue over time. God wanted things to continue like this. This beauty was not meant to be temporary.

Let’s make a short reasoning. If someone of you makes a beautiful picture, a beautiful house or a nice piece of furniture, is your plan that what you have created is destroyed after a year? Obviously there is no such reasoning. You normally think that what you have created, will remain. Can we think that God created Something as beautiful as the earth to have it  destroyed after a short time of its life?

When Jehovah created the first man and the first woman he told about his purpose  in  Genesis 1:27 whith these words:

“And God created man in his own image, created him in the image of God, created the male and the female, and he blessed them and said to them:” Be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it, and have authority over the fish of the gods. seas, on the winged creatures of the heavens and on every living creature that moves on the earth 

Dio non parla di distruzione.

Qualcuno dice magari che poi le cose cambiarono, viesto che Adamo e Eva peccarono. Per cui le cose non andarono come Dio si era proposto dall’inizio. Questo é un ragionamento che non é basato su una corretta interpretazione di  ció che sta scritto nella Bibbia. Guardiamo per esempio  2 Pietro 3:10  che dice : “Tuttavia il giorno di Geova verrà come un ladro in quel giorno i cieli scompariranno con un gran fragore,* ma gli elementi, essendo incandescenti, si dissolveranno, e la terra e le opere che sono in essa saranno portate allo scoperto.”

Alcuni traggono la conclusione da questo testo che i cieli e la terra un giorno saranno distrutti nel fuoco per colpa di Adamo che ha peccato. Questa interpretazione non ha senso. Che senso ha per esempio distruggere i cieli dove risiede Dio o il sole che giá brucia?

Il fuoco é una metafora per la distruzione di qualcosa ma non della terra e dei cieli fisici.

Analizziamo 2 Pietro 3:7 che dice:

Ma mediante la stessa parola i cieli e la terra attuali sono riservati al fuoco, custoditi fino al giorno del giudizio e della distruzione degli empi.”

Nel verso 3:7 si parla della “stessa parola”. La “stessa parola” si riferisce  ai tempi di Noé (da come si capisce dal verso 3:6 precedente) quando distrusse il sistema che governava la terra ma non la terra, gli uomini e le creature su di essa viventi.  L’oggetto  della distruzione nei versi sopra riportati, parlano quindi della distruzione degli empi e dei malvagi e del sistema da loro gestito, non della terra e dei cieli in senso fisico. È il sistema che abbiamo oggi creato dai malvagi che dovrá scomparire, non la terra.

Alcuni di basano su film moderni come Apocalypse e Armageddon ma questi film sono fantascienza

God does not talk about destruction.

Someone may say that things changed later, that Adam and Eve sinned. So things did not go as God had proposed from the beginning. This is a reasoning that is not based on a correct interpretation of what is written in the Bible. Let us look for example 2 Peter 3:10 which says: “However, the day of Jehovah will come as a thief on that day the heavens will disappear with a great roar, * but the elements, being incandescent, will dissolve, and the earth and the works that they are in it they will be brought into the open. “ ( 1 )

Some draw the conclusion from this text that the heavens and the earth will one day be destroyed in the fire because of Adam who has sinned. This interpretation does not make sense. What is the sense, for example, of destroying the heavens where God resides or the sun that already burns?

This fire is a metaphor for the destruction of something but not the earth and the physical heavens.

Let us analyze 2 Peter 3: 7 that says:

“But by the same word the present heaven and earth are reserved for fire, kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the wicked.” ( 1 )

In verse 3: 7 we speak of the “same word”. The “same word” refers to the times of Noah (as understood from verse 3: 6 above) when he destroyed the system that governed the earth but not the earth, men and creatures living on it. The object of destruction in the above verses, therefore, speaks of the destruction of the wicked and the wicked and of the system they managed, not of the earth and the heavens in the physical sense. It is the system we have created today from the wicked that will have to disappear, not the earth.

Dio non ci permetterá di distruggere la terra

Altri dicono che l’uomo sta distruggendo il pianeta con l’inquinamento, con lo sfruttmento. È vero che se le cose andranno cosí, l’uomo si scaverá la sua fossa .

Ma Dio Jehovah non permetterá questo perché la terra é dotata di una facoltá di recupero eccezionale.

Non so se avete sentito parlare dell’esperimento atomico sull’isola di Bikini. Dopo l’esplosione l’isola divenne deserta.

Ma giá dopo alcune decine di anni ricomparse la vegetazione. La terra aveva recuperato.

Avete certamente sentito parlare del buco dell’ozono. Si sono accorti che le cose stavano andando male  per colpa di alcuni tipi di gas usati in frigoriferi, Questi non venivano quindi più usati e venivano sostituiti con altri di migliore qualitá. Quale é stato l’effetto? Il buco dell’ozono si é ridotto e oggi siamo ritornati alla condizione iniziale. La terra ha recuperato.

 

Avete visto un  vasto incendio? Quando passa l’incendio, La terra diventa come un deserto. Ma passano un paio di anni e la terra si recupera.

La terra é stata fatta per recuperarsi e fermare il danno che si sta faccendo.

Dio fermerá l’uomo dal distruggere.

In Rivelazioni capitolo 11:18  troviamo questa promessa.

Le nazioni si adirarono, e si accese la tua ira, e giunse il tempo stabilito per giudicare i morti, per dare la ricompensa ai tuoi schiavi, i profeti ai santi e a quelli che temono il tuo nome, piccoli e grandi, e per distruggere quelli che distruggono* la terra”

Si, Dio ha un tempo stabilito per fermare quelli che distruggono la terra. Nel frattempo, la terra ha tutto il tempo per recuperare.

La terra non verrá mai distrutta interamente. Trovate conferma di questo in 

Il salmo 93:1  che dice:

Geova è divenuto Re! Si è rivestito di maestà. Geova si è rivestito di forza,la indossa come una cintura. La terra è saldamente stabilita, non può essere smossa”

E Il salmo 37:29 dice:

 I giusti erediteranno la terra e vi abiteranno per sempre.

 

 

God will not allow us to destroy the earth

Others say that man is destroying the planet with inundation, with exploitation. It is true that if things go like this, the man will dig his grave.

But God Jehovah will not allow this because the earth is endowed with an exceptional faculty of recovery.

I do not know if you have heard of the atomic experiment on the island of Bikini. After the explosion the island became deserted.

But already after a few decades the vegetation reappears. The earth had recovered.

You have certainly heard of the ozone hole. They realized that things were going badly so that some types of gas used in refrigerators, were no longer used and were replaced with others of better quality. What was the effect? The ozone hole has shrunk and today we have returned to the initial condition. The earth has recovered.

Have you seen a huge fire? When the fire passes, the earth becomes like a desert. But they spend a couple of years and recover.

The earth has been made to recover and stop the damage being done.

God will stop the man from destroying.

In Revelations chapter 11:18 we find this promise.

“The nations were angry, and your anger was kindled, and the appointed time came to judge the dead, to give the reward to your slaves, the prophets to the saints and to those who fear your name, small and large, and to destroy those who destroy * the earth “ ( 1 )

Yes, God has a set time to stop those who ejaculate the earth. Meanwhile, the earth has all the time to recover.

The earth will never be destroyed entirely. You ind this confirmed in 

Psalm 93: 1 :

“Jehovah has become King! He is clothed in majesty, Jehovah has put on his strength, he wears it like a belt. The earth is firmly established, it can not be moved”

And Psalm 37:29 says:

“The righteous will inherit the earth and live there forever.” ( 1 )

scientifically proven!

Happy are those who have not seen and yet believe (John 20:27-29 )

The words “scientifically proven” has become a mantra among some Muslims and Christians as they need to Motivate their believes are not fantasies but truth. 

 

In the beginning”Scientifically proven” was used to sell cleaning products as safe ones not causing allergies.

A few years ago Muslim sites started using it to sell their Quran. They said

“The Quran is scientifically proven!”

This  video will tell that the Quran is compatible with modern scientific knowledge. In between the line maybe they also say “like  the Bible isn’t”

Last thursday I listen to Christian missioners saying:

“The Bible is scientifically proven!”

Oh no!

Now missioneers and priests must dress like doctors with a stethoscope hanging around the neck?

We have bee asked to believe in his messengers (prophets). We were not asked to know. God knows we are weak in our faith and we need to see and ouch so he had to show his power through miracles. 

Jesus himself had to say after his resurrection

“Well, eight days later his disciples were again indoors, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, although the doors were locked, and he stood in their midst and said: “May you have peace.”  Next he said to Thomas: “Put your finger here, and see my hands, and take your hand and stick it into my side, and stop doubting* but believe.”  In answer Thomas said to him: “My Lord and my God!”  Jesus said to him: “Because you have seen me, have you believed? Happy are those who have not seen and yet believe.”  (John 20:27-29 )

To believe we should not need prooves. It should be enough with your feelings of God’s presence. 

I do not need to have prooves to believe in God.

I don’t need to ask a doctor if a holy book is a good book.

iI like to feel that something is right. I like to believe.

I want to know if my tea is posionous or not but I do not need miracles or science to believe.

Men ibland när man tittar på nyheterna vad ser man, vad berättar dom? 

Jo det är nedskräpning. Jorden och  haven är fulla med plast och skräp som man slänger från båtar.

och vi släpper ut olja som får våra fiskar att må dåligt.

Det är verkligen en tråkig syn man ser många gånger på tv.

Men skall det vara så här? Skall jorden bli så förstörd genom att man fördärvar den hela tiden?
Även vattnet är så förorenat på många ställen på jorden så det går inte att dricka. Man måste rena och bearbeta det på olika sätt för att vi skall kunna dricka det utan att bli sjuka.

Men kommer det verkligen att bli så att jorden blir så kass så att vi skulle kunna så att säga , slänga bort den,
eller att det skulle bli något eldklot som bara försvinner och vi med den?

Nej, så är det ju inte.

Jehovah har ju gjort jorden för att den skulle bestå för evigt, står det i Bibeln.

Vi skall slå upp några texter som visar att Jehovah verkligen vill att jorden skall bestå. 

Låt oss läsa  psalm 115:16: “Himlen, den tillhör Jehova, men jorden har han gett åt människorna.

Pollution

But sometimes when you look at the TV news, what do you see?What are they saying?

They tell  about pollution. The earth and  the oceans are  full of plastic and rubbish that we throw from cars and boats.

And we release oil that poison our fishes.

It’s really a sad sight you watch on TV many times.

But should it be like this? Must the earth become totally damaged because of our pollution?
Even the water is so polluted in many places on earth so it’s impossible to drink. You have to clean and process it in different ways so that we can drink the water without getting sick.

But will it really be so that the earth becomes so damaged that we could say, we could throw it away,
or will there be a fireball that then will disappear and the earth with it?

No, it will not be like that.

Jehovah has made the earth for it to last forever, says the Bible.

We will look up some texts that show that Jehovah really wants the earth to survive.

Let us read  psalm 115:16  Salmi 115:16(it)   “As for the heavens, they belong to Jehovah. But the earth he has given to the sons of men.” : (1)

Jorden är en pärla

Jehovah har gjort så att vi människor skall kunna njuta av jorden.

Vi  ser att på avstånd genom satelliter att jorden är som en pärla i jämförelse mot många andra stjärnor och planeter.

Jehovah has made so we humans can enjoy the earth.

We see it at a distance through satellites that the earth is like a gem in comparison to many other stars and planets.

Planetsystemet

Om vi tittar på var jorden befinner sig i  planetsystemet, ser vi att det är ganska långt till solen, det är 150 miljoner km mellan oss och solen. Jorden är så perfekt placerad i förhållande till solen så att vi kan ha en behaglig temperatur här.  På Mars är det 125 grader kallt och det skulle vi inte vilja vara med om.  På Venus är det ända upp till 460 grader varmt och luften är full med svavelsyra  och koldioxid så där skulle vi inte kunna leva länge.

The planetary system

If we see where the Earth is in the planetary system, we see that the Earth is far away from the sun. We have about 150 million km between us and the sun. The earth is so perfectly placed  so that we can have a comfortable temperature here. On Mars, it’s 125 degrees cold and we would not like to live there. At Venus it can be 460 degrees hot and the air is full of sulfuric acid and carbon dioxide so we would not be able to live there for a long time.

Jehovah har skapat jorden på ett sådant sätt att vi skulle kunna njuta av temperaturen och ett rätt avstånd från solen. Jehovah has created the earth in such a way that we can enjoy the temperature with the right distance to the sun.
I begynnelsen

Låt oss läsa Moseboken 1:1

 begynnelsen skapade Gud himlen och jorden Jorden var öde och tom, och de djupa vattnen täcktes av mörker, och Guds verksamma kraft rörde sig över vattenytan. Och Gud sa: ”Det ska bli ljus.” Då blev ljuset till. Gud såg att ljuset var gott, och han började skilja ljuset från mörkret. Gud kallade ljuset dag, och mörkret kallade han natt. Och det blev kväll och det blev morgon. Det var den första dagen.

 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.  Now the earth was formless and desolate,  and there was darkness upon the surface of the watery deep and God’s active force was moving about over the surface of the waters. And God said: “Let there be light.” Then there was light. After that God saw that the light was good, and God began to divide the light from the darkness.  God called the light Day, but the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, a first day” : (1)

Uttrycket “I begynnelsen” kan betyda att det var mycket länge sedan. Det kan vara rätt som många säger att jorden är 4.2 miljarder gammal. Jehovah skapade jorden mycket länge sedan. Det gjorde han för att det skulle finnas tid för att skapa andra saker. The term “in the beginning” may mean that this happened a long time ago. It may be correct that the earth is 4.2 billion years old. Jehovah created the earth a long time ago. He did so to have  time to create other things.

Ett pradis med mat, luft och vatten

Jehovah satte inte  människoparet på en sophög, utan i ett paradis.

Sedan sa Gud: ”Jag ger er alla fröbärande växter som finns på jorden och alla träd som ger frukter med frön i. De ska ge er mat. Och jordens vilda djur och himlens flygande varelser och allt annat som lever och rör sig på jorden ska få de gröna växterna som mat.

Människorna hade mat, luft och vatten de kunde dricka. Egentligen är det inte mycket mer vi behöver för att leva.

A paradise with food, air and water

Then God said: “Here I have given to you every seed-bearing plant that is on the entire earth and every tree with seed-bearing fruit. The people had food, air and water they could drink. Actually, there is not much more we need to live.

Jehovah thought it was very good. It was good for the people. And they could live forever.

Now we know that it did not happen because Adam and Eve sinned.
Vattnets kretslopp

Men Jehovah satte igång ett system så att saker och ting kunde återvinnas. Ett system som vi känner till som kretslopp.

Vi skall titta på ett sådant kretslopp

Låt oss läsa Predikaren 1:4-7

Generationer kommer, generationer går men jorden består för evigt. Solen går upp, solen går ner,och sedan skyndar den tillbaka till platsen där den går upp igen.  Vinden blåser söderut, den slår om mot norr. Runt, runt rör den sig, den växlar ständigt.  Alla floder rinner ut i havet,  ändå blir havet aldrig fullt. Till den plats som floderna kommer ifrån, dit vänder de tillbaka för att åter strömma fram.

Detta är sant. Det är just det som vi kallar för kretslopp. Solen gör att vatten avdunstar och det bildas moln.  Molnen tar med sig vatten över land och återlämnar vattet med regn till marken och sedan kommer vattnet till floder  som tar med det tillbaka till havet.

Det här kretsloppet skapade Jehovah för länge sedan och det fungerar fortfarande.

Det här kretsloppet håller på i all evighet därför att Jehovah har gjort det på det sättet att vi skall ha vatten för att vattna  växter, den mat vi skall odla och äta. Det vattnet finns där.

But Jehovah started a system so things could be recycled. A system we know as a cycle.

Let us read  Ecclesiastes 1:4-7  Ecclesiaste 1:4-77(it) 

A generation is going, and a generation is coming, ut the earth remains* forever.  … All the streams* flow into the sea, yet the sea is not full. To the place from which the streams flow, there they return so as to flow again.” : (1)

This is true. That’s exactly what we call a cycle. The sun makes water evaporate over the sea and clouds are formed. The clouds bring water over land and return the water with rain to the ground and then the water comes to rivers that bring it back to the sea.

This cycle created Jehovah long ago and it still works.

This cycle continues forever, because Jehovah has done it in the way that we have water to water plants, the food we will grow and eat. That water is there.

 

Vatten och livets vatten

Låt oss läsa Jesaja 55:10-11

Precis som regnet och snön faller från himlen och inte återvänder dit förrän jorden är genomdränkt,så att den börjar gro och spira och ger säd att så och bröd att äta,   så är det också med ordet som kommer från min mun. Det kommer inte tillbaka till mig utan resultat. Det uträttar min vilja och det har framgång.

Jehovah har allt genomtänkt så att vi skall få det vi behöver. Jehovah försörjer oss inte bara med vatten utan även med livets vatten så vi kan få den andliga näring så vi kan leva i ett gott förhållande till Jehovah.

Jesaja 55:8-9

Mina tankar är inte era tankar och era vägar är inte mina vägar”, säger Jehova.  ”Precis som himlen är högre än jorden,så är mina vägar högre än era vägaroch mina tankar högre än era tankar.

På det här sättet visar har att vi måste rätta oss

 Water and water of life

Let us read  Isaiah 55:10-11  Isaia 55:10-11(it)

For just as the rain and the snow pour down from heaven and do not return there until they saturate the earth, making it produce and sprout, Giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,  So my word that goes out of my mouth will be.It will not return to me without results, But it will certainly accomplish whatever is my delight, And it will have sure success in what I send it to do.” : (1)

 
Jehovah has thought about everything so that we will get what we need. Jehovah not only supplies us with water but also with the water of life so we get spiritual nutrition to live in a good relationship with Jehovah.
 

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, And your ways are not my ways,” declares Jehovah. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So my ways are higher than your ways And my thoughts than your thoughts.

In this way, we show that we have to follow him because he knows our best. He has done all of this for us to feel good and stay alive.

 

Luften

efter honom eftersom han vet vårt bästa. Han har gjort all detta för att vi skall må bra och fortsätta leva.

Vatten är väldigt viktigt. Så är det också med luften. Vi säger ofta att vi vill öppna fönstret får att få in syre. Men hur är det med luften? Det finns mycket annat i luften. Skulle det vara 100% syre i luften då skulle vi inte kunna leva på jorden.

Vi andas ut koldioxid och träden avger syre. Och syret blandas då med kväve.

Jorden atmosfär består av 78% kväve, 1% koldioxid och 21% syre. På det sättet kan vi andas in luften utan att ta skada. Det här reglerar sig automatiskt. Vi behvöer inte trycka på någon knapp för att få det rätta blandningen i atmosfären. 

Jehovah har gjort att denna blandning bibehålls.

Vad skulle hända om andelen syre sjönk i atmosfären?

Då skulle vi somna och stearinljus skulle slockna.

Därför blåser det så att syret från skogen  sprids.  

Jeovah har gjort det på ett fint sätt och det tar inte slut. Det fanns redan på Adam och Evas tid och mycket innan eftersom djuren också andas och behvöer frisk luft.

Låt oss läsa Psalm 104:24-25

Många är dina verk, Jehova! Med vishet har du gjort dem alla. Jorden är full av det du har skapat. Där är havet, så stort och vidsträckt,med ett oräkneligt myller av djur,både stora och små.

Genom  de här processerna så har Jehovah verkligen försett oss med det som vi behöver för att kunna fortsätta och leva och må bra. 

The air

Water is very important. That’s how it’s with the air too. We often say that we want to open the window to get oxygen. But how about the air? There is much else in the air. Should it be 100% oxygen in the air then we could not live on earth.

 

We breathe out  carbon dioxide and the trees emit oxygen. And the oxygen is mixed with nitrogen.

Earth’s atmosphere consists of 78% nitrogen, 1% carbon dioxide and 21% oxygen. That way, we can inhale the air without getting ill. This is regulated automatically. We do not need to “press any button” to get the right mix in the atmosphere.

Jehovah has made sure that this mixture is maintained.

What would happen if the proportion of oxygen dropped in the atmosphere?

Then we would fall asleep and candles would go out without blowing.

Therefore, it blows so that the oxygen from the forest is spread.

Jeovah has done it in a good way and it does not end. It was already in Adam and Eve’s time and much before, because the animals that were create efore also breathe and need fresh air.

How many your works are, O Jehovah! You have made all of them in wisdom. The earth is full of what you have made. There is the sea, so great and wide, Teeming with countless living things, both small and great.” : (1)

Through these processes, Jehovah has  provided us with what we need to continue and live and feel well.
Ingen uppskattning för Jehova och skapelsen

Låt oss läsa Romarna 1:20-22

Ända sedan världens skapelse har man tydligt kunnat se hans osynliga egenskaper, både hans eviga kraft och hans gudomlighet,  för de kan uppfattas genom det som är skapat. Därför är man utan ursäkt.   För trots att de kände till Gud ville de varken ära honom som Gud eller tacka honom. I stället resonerade de enfaldigt och tomt, och deras oförnuftiga hjärtan blev förmörkade.  De utgav sig för att vara visa, men de blev dåraktiga.

Vi har inte tittat på kroppen, hur fantastiskt väl den är gjord för att vi skall kunna leva mycket längre än den ålder vi har nu.

Istället för att uppskatta det Jehovah har skapat så hittar man på andra uräkter och påståenden att vi är utvecklade utan någon intelligent skapare bakom det här. Vi som nu har funnit Jehovah måste vara tacksamma för att han har byggt upp sett sådant fint system för oss. Men det är också så att Jehovah kommer att göra upp med de här personerna som motarbetar honom

Han kommer inte att bara lämna det så här att de kan hålla på och smutsa ner jorden och göra den obeboelig, så att vi inte kan utnyttja alla de resurser han har gett oss. 

Not appreciating Jehovah and the Creation

Let us read Romans 1:20-22 Romani 1:20-22(it)

For his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made,  even his eternal power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable. For although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God nor did they thank him, but they became empty-headed in their reasonings and their senseless hearts became darkened.  Although claiming they were wise, they became foolish” : (1)

We have not looked at the body, how amazing it is, that we can live much longer than the age we have now.

Instead of appreciating what Jehovah has created, one finds in other excuses and claims that we are developed without any intelligent creators behind this. We who have now found Jehovah must be grateful for having built up such a nice system for us. But it is also true that Jehovah will deal with the people who oppose him.

He will not just leave it so that they can hold on and pollutethe the earth and make it unlivable so that we can not enjoy  all the resources Jehovah gave us.

 

 

 

 Jehovah skall fördärva de som födärvar jorden 

Låt oss läsa Uppenbarelseboken 11:18

“Nationerna blev vreda, men du blev också vred, och så kom den bestämda tiden för att döma de döda och för att belöna dina tjänare profeterna och de heliga och dem som respekterar ditt namn, både höga och låga, och för att fördärva dem som fördärvar jorden.”

Många politiker blev vredgade. Men Jehovah kommer också att vredgas och han kommer att göra upp med dom, fördärva dom som har fördärvat jorden.

 

Jehovah will ruin those who ruin the Earth

Vår mission

Då gäller det att vi är på Jehovahs sida. Vad är det vi skall göra?

Vi skall hjälpa dom att ställa sig på Guds sida.

Vi har som målsättning att studera med människor oberoende av deras status och lära oss Guds vägar så vi gör det som är rätt.

De rättfärdiga ska ärva jorden, de ska bo på den för evigt.

Vad gör vi med soporna?

Förutom att vi deltar i predikoverksamhet, försöker få andra människor att ta ställning för det som är rätt,  vad gör vi med vårat skräp? Slänger vi det genom bilrutan när vi är ute och åker så det lyser rött och grönt i alla möjliga färger ute på gator och vägkanter? I många länder så plockar man inte upp så det blir som en skräphög som man åker igenom.  Är vi sådana eller stoppar vi dom där dom skall vara? 

i Arboga uppmärsammade Kommunen att Beteliterna (2) var mycket duktiga i att sortera skräp för att det skulle kunna återvinnas. De  fick mycket beröm. Vi skall uppfylla det uppdrag vi har fått. 

Our mission

What do we do with garbage?

In addition to participating in preaching activities, trying to get other people to take a stand for what is right  what do we do with our garbage? Are we throwing it through the car window when we go outside so it shines red and green in all sorts of colorin the street and on the road margins? In many countries, they do not pick it up so it looks like you are driving in a garbage dump. Are we such or do we stop them where they should be?

In Arboga the municipality noticed that the Bethelites (2) were very good at garbage separating for it to be recycled. They received a lot of praise. We shall fulfill the mission we have received.

“en ni ska få kraft när den heliga anden kommer över er, och ni ska vara vittnen om mig i Jerusalem och i hela Judeen och Samarien och till jordens yttersta ände.”

Vi måste acceptera att vi inte kan styra på det sättet som Jehovah kan göra.

Jeremia10:23

Jag vet mycket väl, Jehova, att människan inte kan välja rätt väg. Hon kan inte ens styra sina egna steg.”

Introduction

Jesus said once:

I still have many things to say to you, but you are not able to bear them now.” ( John 16:12  )

And to the Jews he said “and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free ”  (   John 8:32   )

These phrases raised two questions in me:

  1. What were those many things he had to say?
  2. Why couldn’t his audience “bear the many things” he had to say?

1 These “many things” may have not been so important to explain at his time as he would otherwise have talked about these “many things ” with his intelligent use of metaphores.

2. Jesus is said to have talked Galilean or Hebraic aramaic with his disciples. The language could not have been the problem that made it  “unbearable”.  Maybe were the issues he wanted to talk about to difficult to understand at his time, when people did not have the knowledges we have today? Was it about understanding God?

In this article I focus on  the Quantum physics enigmas and the enigma of  Jesus’ miracles and how these miracles could be explained with some knowledge about Quantum Physics. I also look at definitions of God in holy books and how to get closer to a presumingly existing God.

Kyballion

To get an idea of what God is, it is interesting to read the Kybalion that were defined by the Egyptian Hermes trismegistus

Human beings view of and connecting to  God

I decided to add this part after seeing Morgan Freemans docutmentary about God. He looked at views of God in different part of the world to find similarities. he raises for me important questions and try to find answers.

Hindus view of God

“Behind all Gods there is single divine  energy the hindu believer try to get into” a energy that is neither female nor male, it has no name but they call it Brahman. Hinduism looked at superficially  seems to be a religion of many gods. But under the surface there is a single divine energy

Why one God in certain cultures and many in others?

Stonehenge, The first monotheists

Stonehenge was build with a focus on the sun. The old stones at Durrington walls focusing on Beacon hill, where demolished after Stonehenge and rebuilt with a focus on the uprising midsummer sun.

Sun the main focus of worship and religious interest to establish a particular connection to the sun. The people of Stonehenge may hjave been the first people to worship a single God.  When the Gods were ancestors, a river, they were much more accessible. Woreshiping the Son, they missed this accessibility.

GobekliTepe  for the dog star, Sirius,

I were informed about another ancient temple.  the world’s oldest temple, #GobekliTepe, in Southern Turkey, may have been built to worship the dog star, Sirius, according to one researcher.

Atenism- the first monotheistic religion

Faraoh Akhenaton decided 1350 ad to worship the sun 100 years after Stonehenge.

His ideas was considered very dangerous. he thought there were to many Gods. He closed most of the temples. “We must have one important God that only I can channel. (Salima Ikram) There is a special God. The name of that God is Aton. You can worship Aton though me. “

That was not a popular move. All the important Gods priests were silenced. As oon as Akhenaton died the old priesthood struck back. His son Tuthankhamon was only 7 years when Akhenaton died and Tithankamon died when he was 19. The priesthood did their best to erase the memory of Akhenaton.

Half the people of the planet can trace their God to the ancient city of Jerusalem. it was in Jerusalem the belief in one single all powerful deity took root 2000 years ago.

“Abrahams father owned a shop with God idols. The pagan Gods of that time represented anything people may need.  There was a God that brings the rain, a god of warfare. Some Gods wanted a party, they wanted wine, song and good food, some Gods wanted bloodshed’s. The Bible tell about Abraham wanting to shed  his son’s life. A voice stopped him telling to never sacrifice  lives again. Jews built a temple over that shedding site to commemorate that event. A temple that the Romans destroyed 70 ad. “

God is a single force that brings physical and moral order.

You could communicate with the God of Abraham without idols or temples. For Jews, Christians and Muslims,   the invisible God is always with them wherever and whenever they  turn to God.

Some faiths believe God can take a visible form. Understanding God through his Creation

Giordano Bruno was trying to understand  God through his Creation.

Giordano Bruno, who understood quite well Copernicus heliocentric model, said about God in his authobiography in page 35 that “the only bridge to understanding the infinity of God is to understand the infinity of the Universe.”

Giordano also said in his authobiography in page 20  that in the tiny bubbles in a cup of cuffy, you can see the reflection of the Universe.

My hypothesis is that we in the tiniest quantum particles can see a reflection of God and Jesus. 

In the Romans 1:20-22 you can read about God that For his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made,  even his eternal power and Godship”

In James 4:8 you read that “Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you”

A conclusion of Romans 1:20 and James 4:8 is for me

“Study YHWHs (=Gods) Creation and gifts with the new technology we have today and you draw close to God And hopefully YHWH has time to draw close to you helping me in my searches.

Studying the Creation means today, to try to study what Biology, Chemistry and Physics today understand and know about our world e.g.:

Biology: Darwins theory of evolution, abiogenesis Biological anthropologyQuantum biology

I believe there is a God but I can not know.

If there is a God who created Universe and all the Creatures, then this God is able to control and use the unified force we had at the beginning of the Universe development. We do not know what can be done with this force. Of course such a God is able to take advantage of the capacity of the quantum particles he created.

I like this verse of Isaiah 40:26:

“Lift up your eyes to heaven and see. Who has created these things? It is the One who brings out their army by number; He calls them all by name. Because of his vast dynamic energy and his awe-inspiring power, Not one of them is missing 

Now with my new knowledges about Quantum particles, I also think that God must master and be able to control the behaviour of the quantum particles, as God created these.

Understanding God studying Quantum theory

That boundary is Quantum Mechanics. ” and later in the same article: This insistence on discrete energy levels dictates how atoms interact with one another, which forms the chemistry of bulk matter — everything from the stars to ourselves. So it can be seen that the nature of the very littlest of things can have a tremendous impact on everything else, on the nature of our reality. …”

…Hence, for the first time in the history of man, ask and it shall be given is a biblical truism that can be explained using Quantum theory.”

I may be a  quantum mysticist. But I am simply trying to get an idea of the nature of Jesus and God, like Giordano Bruno did.

I try to find a explanation of the mysteries of Jesus miracles with the help of Quantum theory.

To understand my idea of a “Quantum God” it is terefore important you have some basic  knowledge about the

The quantum enigmas

The single particle double slit experiment changed the way we look at materia.  This youtube video explain it very well.

  1. Particle duality

Photons can be both particles and waves.

Thomas Young demonstrated with this experiment that light is a wave. But today we know that photons that gives us visual impulses in our retina, are particles as well.  

just as Newton predicted in his  book Opticks.

Also big molecules as buckminsterfullerene can behave in the same way.

2. Quantum entanglement

(in Italian: correlazione quantistica)

Electrons have some kind of contact between them that is faster than light.

Electrons rotates like planets around their axes. Physicians call this rotation “spin”. Two electrons can be connected to each other through a so called entanglement. If one of the two electrons change its rotation from e.g. clockwise to counterclockwise the entangled electron will “know about this event” and act accordingly changing its own rotation to clockwise so they are again in superposition.

This happens even if it the other electron is on the other side of the Universe or leaving the other with the speed of light.  Also a hydrogen proton can be entangled with its electron at 0 Kelvin

A spooky action at a distance” as Einstein called it.  According to Van Raamsdonk:”The Universe would not function in the same way without Quantum entanglement.” (Source:  Van Raamsdonk ).

Many biological events (photosynthesis, many enzyme reactions, birds magnetic field sences etc) can not work well without entanglement. I wrote about it in my article about Quantum biology.

3. quantum tunneling – a quantum particle can move through solid objects easily 

Protons quantum tunnel (move) into each other avoiding the rejection forces between these. This happens in the sun where two Hydrogen atoms (with one proton) fuse into Helium atoms (with 2 protons)  and release solar energy. (Source: Dominic Walliman). This happens also in our body where hydrogen atoms change molecule attachment. We would not exist without it.

4. A quantum particle can  go back in time and change the past.

A quantum particle can be in two  places in the same time (quantum superposition is used in photosynthesis)

Jesus miracles and quantum particle behaviours

Jesus miracles are well documented in the Gospels. And there are many

  • Jesus walked on the water
  • Jesus made bread and wine
  • Jesus knew about what was going on elsewere
  • Jesus cured sick mens
  • Jesus resuscitated dead people
  • Jesus resuscitated himself
  • Jesus entered a house without opening the door

Even the Muslim Quran recognize Jesus as a messenger, Muslims says that Isa (Jesus ) is one of the greatest prophets and the only one who could make miracles. The Quran says:

“We gave ‘Îsa (jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), clear signs and supported him with Ruh-ul-Qudus” (ed. english “holy Spirit”) (  Surah 2:87  )

Many people, especcially atheists, think that the stories about the  miracles of Jesus are fairy tales for childrens

but for these atheists the physicians stories bout the quantum particles are not controversial at all.

 

I will  below mention some of Jesus miracles together with the Quantum enigma that may explain it.

A quantum particle can  go back in time and change the past.

People who suffered by Leprosy where previously infected by Mycobacterium_leprae. By curing people with Leprosy it is possible that Jesus went back in time and changed the past.

A quantum particle can be entangled with another

Quantum entanglement with Jesus? 

As explained above oone particles behaviour <e.g. spin) impact on a entangled particle behaviour (spin in this case) even if the entangled particle is on the other side of the Universe.

Look at what Jesus did according to Markus 14:13-15

Go into the city, and a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you there. Follow him.Wherever he enters, say to the owner of the house,… ”

The same story is also documented in  Luke 22,10-23: “He said to them, “Now, as you enter the city, a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you there. Follow him into the house which he enters,11 and say to the owner of the house…”

How could Jesus know about that man? A hypohesis of mine is that  God may have been  entangled with God. What God knew, Jesus knew by entanglement.  Knowing about quantum physics, Jesus could maybe have said this metaphore: ” God choose who to become entangled with”. but at Jesus time he had to talk with metaphores for fishermen, shepherds and farmers and not for physicians.

Gods omnipresence

I see a possibility of omnipresence with entanglement.

With entanglement God can see with the eyes of those trillion species that have useful eyes, from insects to other animail around you.  In  the same way  is God able to hear with the help of all whose animals  and humans around us that have userful ears.

But God can also entange whoever of us  to listen to our brians.

I found Dennis Zettings who tries to explain omnipresence using knowledges about quantum physics .  I like his introducing with psalm 139:7-10 ). I have however yet difficulties to accept  his explanation as a proof of omnipresence.

We emit  light, like infrared light  that mosquitos can see. But I have never heard that our brains neurons by themselves emit some kind of electromagnetic  waves.  if you do not let the brain hydrogen atoms respond to cetain electromagnetic  frequencies MRI scanners  emit.

Even i  our neurons emit some strange electromagnetic waves, it doesnt prove God/Allah “is in us” btu possibly able to “listen to us”. 

The Bible and the Quran say God is all-knowing.  But that could be a reality with entanglement  that is  a Quantum reality.

Dennis uses  a a simple  electromagnetical reality to describe a so called Omnipresence.  I agree with Dennis that electromagnetic waves from our body and brain  could be a way for God to listen to our brain activity and  understand our thoughts.  
I am a little reluctant that he uses the word “Quantum physics” when his ecplanation is based on elementary Physics. Maybe Dennis uses these words  to attract attention and legitimate his conclusions. I see no need for him to do this. His argument about a all knowing God is good enough. I would give this title to his Youtube video “Human electromagnetic fields explain God’s allknowing.”

Conclusion

I have two questions I am still searching  a answer for:

  1. How to connect to a God that has no physical form?
    For me the inner voice and silence as Elisabeth of trinity suggests, are solutions. I wrote about silence in a separate article.
  2. How do you know what is divine and what isn’t?
    For me divine is something that is not possible to do without the help of God. Jesus words are divine as those words could not have been spoken by a human of his time. Divine are also somehow the laws of nature, laws a human barely understand and would not have been able derive without our mind.
    So also our human body is somehow divine. I do not believe in the Creation of man as described in Genesis. Divine is for me the way our body was created through evolution from atoms, molecules, virus and  bacteria. No one does still understand the consciousness and how we got it and how we become conscious. So also consciousness is divine whether it is human or animal.

the intelligent Nature

We talk today about intelligent vehicles ,  cars that can drive alone like e.g. Tesla or alert you about dangers. We have also intelligent homes that call you and the firemen if there is smoke or the police if someone is in your home.
There would be no intelligent vehicles at Tesla without intelligent car engineers at Tesla. In the same way, there would be no smart solutions for homes being sold by e.g. dlink without intelligent engineers at DLink.

Knowing that intelligence includes the ability to learn and adapt to new situations,  the use of the adjective “intelligent” in “intelligent car” or “intelligent home”  is totally misleading.  Even if Artifical intelligence (AI) is planned for cars, there are today only tests being done  with robots with AI. 

When I talk about “intelligent Nature”, that doesn’t mean that Nature as a system is intelligent. It can also mean that there is a lot of intelligence in Nature.

So my first question is therefore…

Can we compare a car with AI  with nature?

A car is a assembly of different parts. We can not say that if a car has artificial  intelligence butilt in it  then all screws must be intelligent.  The same with nature. Even if nature has intelligent animals this doesn’t mean that all organisms are intelligent.  Being aware about that we can   can compare a car with AI with the nature as a system, like the biosphere, a biosphere we know includes among others a  ecosystem. I will look at the Biosphere in my article, when looking for intelligence in nature. 

Evaluating the intelligence of the Biosphere it is important to know about what makes a brain intelligent. In the brain we have different “areas that work together to give us intelligence.” (Source: www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech )

So looking at the biosphere we have to study the different parts of the biosphere to see if these maybe together make the biosphere intelligent.

Would there be an intelligent Biosphere without a intelligent Creator?

Before I proceed with this question is it important that we define intelligence and Nature a little more in depth.

Definition of intelligence

According to www.merriam-webster.com 

the definition of intelligence is

the ability to learn or understand or to deal with or trying new situations

intelligence is also  in Christian Science the basic eternal quality of divine Mind”

According to  Drew Purves in his speech in https://channel9.msdn.com all organisms in our biosphere have intelligence according to his definition in the screen below.
Is this leading to the concusion that biosphere is intelligent? or
is this a proof that there is a lot of intelligence in our biosphere?

defines Nature like this:

  •  the inherent character or basic constitution of a person or thing”
  • creative and controlling force in the universe
  • an inner force (such as instinct, appetite, desire) or the sum of such forces in an individual

Mariam Webster does not mention  the Nature as it being discussed about as in this dialog:

Bill says: “Paul, you cannot say that mycelium is intelligent! You can’t say nature is intelligent.
Paul answers: Bill, I respect you, but you don’t realize the hypocrisy of the statement you’re giving me? My article should really be called “A intelligent biosphere” as it is this I put focus on here.

I will in this article focus finding answers to these two questions;
  1. Are there signs of a intelligent creator in the Biosphere?
  2. Has the biosphere ability to learn and adapt to new situations ?
 Is nature intelligent? 

This is a question of endless struggle. On the one hand, nature obviously produced us, and it becomes troubling to say “that which produced something as intelligent as us is itself not intelligent”. On the other hand, chance, probability, randomness, and singularities play a huge part in modern science, and to question that would surely invite ridicule.  (Source:  listed.standardnotes.org )

Obviously you can not make this conclusion

Human being = intelligent 
Human being = nature
Nature = intelligent 

Signs of a intelligent creator in Nature (Biosphere)

A very observant friend of mine told me that Nature shows many signs to be build by intelligence, in this case a intelligent God. 

Here are a few of these examples.

  1. Many animals survive the winter deep down in holes. The trees loose their leaves during the winter not only to take care of the magnesiumin the clorophyll, but also to let the snow fall down and cover the ground avoiding the ground to freeze to deep and kill the animals hiding in it. And when there is no snow, the sunshine will heat up the ground. Te animals, mice andv insects that are up on the surface will find nutrition in the fallen leaves.
  2. Predators have the important function to keep arts from proliferating sickness and bad genes.
  3. With mutations there are probabilities that good characteristics may arise in a art.
  4. Bad characteristics are cleaned out by natures selectivity.
  5. As Giorando Bruno defined it 1599, all creatures have their role and significance.
  6. Some plants interact with bacteria to produce their own nitrogen fertilizer.
  7. When predators collaborate with their preys in Nature, as I wrote about in http://www.kinberg.net,  we learn to love our enemies.
  8. ALl organisms have some sort of intelligence ( Source: Drew Purves in his speech in https://channel9.msdn.com )

Has the biosphere ability to learn?

I will try to answer this question looking at this similar question: 

Have bacteria ability to learn?

Noone would consider a bacteria intelligent. But we all know that  bacteria have developed resistance to antibiotics.  Knowing about the natural mechanisms behind this, we understand that bacteria didnt learn to defend themselves from medicines even if it may look like that. So no, bacteria have no ability to learn.  but through its frequent regeneration and mutations, bacteria have the possibility to adapt to new situations, that is the second definition of intelligence, adabtability. So if bacteria inherently are adabtive, may the biosphere as a system be adaptive too? I move onto this more specified question

Has the biosphere ability adapt to new situations ?

My answer is yes. Here is my motivation.

Looking at the human burning of carbon fossils, we have now effects  carbon cycle. 

Due to the greenhouse effect we have also effects on the water cycle,  with the melting of the Earth water reserves, the glaciers and with it the raise of sea levels. Earth has had very high levels of carbon dioxide once in a time.

With our carbon fossil burning, we are having our biosphere to adapt again to the previous ages of its development, e.g. the Cambrian era when the atmospheric carbon dioxide level was much higher. 

Story of adaptation

The whole history of our biosphere is a history of adaptation.

What parts of the biosphere are involved in this adaptation?

Trees and algae, an important part in adaptation

The trees and the algae in the oceans are the most important parts as these immediately proliferate taking care of the carbon dioxide surplus. 

Even if this is less important in this case, all cells have clocks built in to regulate their activity according to time of the day and the year.

Many humans will suffer and die but the Biosphere will adapt.

One could maybe say that the Biosphere adapt more easily than we human beings.

Cockroaches and insects are known to be more adaptive than most organisms. Cockroaches seem to be the organisms that may even survive a world nuclear war.

So if  adabtability is a definition of intelligence then cockroaches are more intelligent than we are.

.so therefore the conclusion, Nature or our biosphere does not need human made AI. We may instead need AI to become better “shepherds” on this earth.

We need to learn from Nature to develop AI. Like https://deepmind.com/ seems to be doing,

Conclusion

We have a intelligent Nature/biosphere as 

  • the Nature has a lot of inherent intelligence
  • the Nature has a high capacity to adapt to new situations.

We can not say however that the Nature or Biosphere as a system is able to learn even if many organisms in it are able to to do so.

“Faith lessons for gays led by the  Diocese of Turin.

Don Gianluca Carrega is the only priest in Italy to follow the homosexuals who have decided to have a civil mariage after the Italian Cirinnà law.

“Gay couples should  get out of hiding, be faithful to each other and love each other.”

The meaning of the work that Fr Gianluca Carrega has been carrying out in Turin for five years can be summarized in these terms.

Don Gialuca Carrega  is the only priest in Italy appointed by the diocese to follow the homosexual and lesbian people who, after the entry into force of the (civil mariage) Cirinnà law, have the right to have a civil mariage. For them, the Catholic Church does not have mariage preparation courses, as  other Churches in the Christian sphere have, as (the CAtholic Church) do not recognize the same sacredness to homosexual unions.

However, “we are interested – explains Fr Carrega – to continue their journey of faith and wonder what it means to share their lives in the light of the Gospel”. The principles that underlie a life of two homosexuals are the same as those of heterosexual couples, starting from fidelity, as a pact of mutual respect. No guilt, indeed “it is important that they have the awareness and the courage to make it explicit, starting from the their own family”.

The main problem for the homosexuals are the parents. The article continues:

“The parents

Punto dolens, in fact, are often parents. “It is not enough – the priest points out – to be believers to understand and welcome gay children. They too need to be accompanied on a path that makes them understand that they as parents are not facing a tragedy. During our meetings some agree to bring their testimony to other parents who are in a similar situation and who have difficulty accepting it ».  No guilt, therefore, and no theory of homosexuality or of lesbianism as a disease. I am not – Don Carrega is keen to point out – having  courses to redeem, in order to recover to a supposedly healthy normality, those who would have moved away from it. On the other hand, on this front the Catholic Church, which does not recognize civil unions as a true marriage, is not zero year. “Since 2005,” explained Don Caregga, “there was a focus on homosexual persons in the Pastoral Care for the Family, for which Fr Valer Danna was responsible. The only novelty is that for five years an ad hoc pastoral has been created. Loyalty is not the only aspect we face. Others concern relationships with others, within the family and in society. We care that everyone is aware of what is faith and that everyone does not lose faith “. Two spiritual retreats per year help in this sense, like the one scheduled for February 24th and 25th in an institute of nuns. A path, that of faith, which needs to be continually nourished and that is why “the church must welcome, listen, accompany”. t the question “After the courses these couples remain in the church, continue to attend their activities?  Gian-Luca answers: “Exactly like all other heterosexual couples. Proportionally, the percentage is equal “.

GianLuca Carrega has written several religious books.  The editor site editrice.effata.it says this about Gian-Luca Carrega:

“He was born in Turin in 1972. After classic high school (studying Greek and Latin) he studied  litterature and giudaic-ellenistic philology.
2000 he is priest at diocesi inTorino. After a few eyars in the Orbassano (church TO), he went to Rome to contiue his sacred scripture studies at Pontificio Istituto Biblico.
After 2006, he made a doctorate about the Gospels Siriac translations. he is now responsible  at pastorale della cultura dell’Arcidiocesi di Torino.”

About the ban on gay men from entering the seminary, introduced by Ratzinger in 2005 

“The Church … cannot admit to the seminary … those who practice homosexuality, present deep-seated homosexual tendencies or support the so-called ‘gay culture,” it read. 

But some catholics are against this: “The idea that gays cannot be good priests is stupid, demeaning, unjust, and contrary to the facts, I know many very good priests who are gay, and I suspect even more good priests I know are gay.’ saysThomas Reese, Jesuit priest.

Some would like to follow the  Bible deuteronomy 21:18-21 and similar texts about stoning: 

 If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them:

19 Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;

20 And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard.

21 And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.”

Many Muslim fanatics have followed the Bible lapidation description strictly  with a homosexual or heterosexual men or women being in love with someone wihtout the permission of their parents.

How is it about Jesus “Love your enemie” ( matthew/5-44 ) and “throw the first stone who is without sin.” ( John/8-7 ) ? Are we not dealing with homophobic priests who tell us to love even our enemy but they themselves do something else in this case blowing oxygen on homophobia? ( https:// Matthew+23

I remember and love Jesus advice about the pharisees “obey everything they teach you, but don’t do as they do. After all, they say one thing and do something else. ” ( https:// Matthew+23 )  

 

 

 

 

Love and meaning of life – updated

I published this post 2017 October 11, after looking at two speeches:
1. a speach of a Tibetan nunn, Tenzin Palmo Jetsunma about love and attachment and  2.  a speech of Emily Esfahani Smith about happiness and pillars of the meaning of life.

I have now made a major update of this post adding more content about love, imposssible relationsships, the pillars of meaning of life and telling about my personal coinclusions.

Tenzin talks in her video about attachment. I have been looking around for a synonym.

According to Tenzin, Attachment is like:

” I love you therefore I want you to make me happy”. 

and she adds that
“attachment is like holding very tight. “

Can genuine love survive “enhancement separation”?

 
Susan Pease Gadoua  says:

When I think about love and separation, I can not forget the story of the Swedish Sailorwoman  ( sjömanshustrun ), a story told for me but probably invented, that the statue was raised in memory of a woman who every day went to the harbour to look if her husband was coming back. The story of Manika who had a maternal death and while dying made an agreement  with her husband,, is a curious story of a remarcable separation that did not survive. Her husband married another woman. I wrote about it in http://www.kinberg.net/2018/01/24/life-and-afterlife/#science

“The problem is always that we mistake the idea of love for attachment.

We  imagine that the grasping and clinging that we have in our relationsships, shows that we love whereas actually it is  just attachment which causes pain.

Because, you know the more we grasp the more we are afraid to loose, then if we do  loose, we are going to suffer.

Make happy

I mean, genuine love is… well attachment says ” I love you therefore I want you to make me happy”.  And genuine love says “I love you, therefore I want you to be happy. If that includes me, great.  if it doesn’t include me, I just want your happiness. And so, its a very different feeling.

Holding

You know, attachment is like holding very tight. Genuine love is holding very gently, nurturing, but allowing things to flow, not to be held tightly. The more tight we hold on to others, the more we will suffer. But its very hard for people to understand that, because they think that the more they hold on to someone, the more it shows they care about them but it’s not, it’s really just that they are trying to grasp at something because they are afraid  that otherwise they themselves will be hurt.

Fulfillment

Any kind of relationship which imagines that we can fulfill ourselves trhough another is bound to be very tricky.  I mean, ideally, people should come together already feeling fulfilled within themselves and just therefore appreciating that in the other rather than expecting the other to supply that sense of well-being. which they dont feel on their own.

Projection

Then it’s  a lot of problem and also along with the projection which comes with romance where we project all our ideals and desires and romantic fantasies on to the other which the other cannot possibly fulfill once you get to know them and recognize that it’s not Prince Charming of Cinderella, it’s just a very ordinary person, also struggleing.

And unless one is able to see them to like them as well as well as feel desire for them and to also have loving kindness and  compassion then it’s going to be, it’s going to be a very difficult relationship.”

Impossible relationships

Tenzins definition regards all kind of relations. It doesn’t make difference between heterosexual or homosexual relationship.

In my examples below, I identify therefore the members in a pair with numbers, one (1) and two (2).

a relation is impossible or difficult if

  1. you look for fulfillment through another
    this may happen if 1 needs its companion (2) to achieve fulfillment. Tenzin said that this make the relarionship tricky.
    Such a relationship may I think, become a unhealthy dependency relationship if if “you can’t be happy without your partner.
  2. you have different goals for your relationship
    This happens e.g. when you have e.g. these two goals:

    • “I want you to make me happy!”
    • “I do not need that you make me happy as I get happy  fulfilling myself in my work and hobbies”
  3. when happiness for one is incompatible with the happiness of the  partner e.g. the happiness for one is a pain for the other as in these two examples:1. :  I must listen to rap music many hours a day to improve myself as a musician.”
    2.:  “I hate rap music, I love opera!”or1 : “I love trecking in the mountains!”
    2 :  “I can not do trecking in the mountains with 
     a wheelchair!

    • I was lucky enough to be surrounded by all of the pillars. My parents ran a Sufi meetinghouse from our home in Montreal. Sufism is a spiritual practice associated with the whirling dervishes and the poet Rumi. Twice a week, Sufis would come to our home to meditate, drink Persian tea, and share stories.
    • Their practice also involved serving all of creation through small acts of love, which meant being kind even when people wronged you.
    • But it gave them a purpose: to rein in the ego.

    • Eventually, I left home for college and without the daily grounding of Sufism in my life, I felt unmoored. And I started searching for those things that make life worth living. That’s what set me on this journey. Looking back,

CONCLUSIONS

Having listened to Tenzin and Emily I have now come to a few conclusions.

  • I think it is interesting Emily grew up in a sufi family. I have myself been in contact with sufi people.

My story of pillars

  • I had  my  first pillar of belonging, purpose and trascendence  as a teenager in Torino in Italy.  I wanted to become a surgeon like my German uncle and I had many good friends and I fell in love 14 years old. I had also several transcendent purposes writing poetry, skying and diving. When I were 18 yeas old I  wanted to write a book about life and Universe not knowing about my grandfathers project. Carlo Sessa,  a  Italian friend to my family, said that it was impossible to write such a book as there was far to much information to have in a book. I abandonded therefore this idea.
  • When I were 19 years old, I loosed all my pillars, as my parents separated,  I had to leave Italy laving all my friends and go back to Sweden. I could not become a surgeon as I got a bad vote in Latin and Swedish.  I had my first crisis in life.
  • I found  however a pillar of transcendence and belonging joining a dance jazz group for a few years and getting in love again. 
    When I were thirty, a new belonging pillar grew up living with  my wife and family with two children in a nice and friendly neighbourhood. 
    Because the pillar of purpose in computer programming, in my work and with www. kidlink.org from 1995, took over much of relationship time I ended up in a separation from my family and neighbourhood. I had therefore my second crisis in life with panic anxiety. 
  • I recovered however and came back to work after 5 months.
  • The pillar of belonging  to my colleagues  (I epeccially remember my good friend and colleague Stig Fjellman in my school and  all good friend volunteers in www. kidlink.org became stronger and stronger . It took however  time for me to be valued for who I was as a teacher.
  • the purpose of my life came to be, becoming a better math teacher attending a lot of courses for teachers <nd   “Having my student to become good programmers and webmasters” writing html pages for the school and winning technique competitions.  I wanted to  “Make my students more  intrested in math and Science” and getting better results in math. As a student coach I wanted them ” to find a goal in life and with the school”.
  • After 10/11 my work purpose became to have my muslim students and meself  better understand the Quran hopefully  as a message of peace, my students finding other goals in life than joining ISIS like one of our students did dying in Syria. 
  • the pillar od transcendence. Teaching about evolution and having many discussions about it with my Muslim students and a Persian colleague, I became more and more intrested in Islam and Zoroastrism. I started to write about it in blogs.
  • The work became to stressy because of many colleagues leaving my school to work somewhere else. My pillar of belonging became dismantled and I had my third crisis in life with mutliple strokes, mental fatigue and a third separation.
  • I am now back to my teenager dream I abandoned 18 years old,  preparing for the book “The Creation of man and Universe, 100 years later” in this site and in https://mygrandfather.wordpress.com/
  • I understand now that depending on the pillars of purpose and transcendence you risc to dismantle the pillar of belonging like it  happened to me several times.
  • Like my daughter reminded me about is that the meaning of purpose may hide a subconscious search for belonging and you may sometimes need collaboration to reach your purposes like I  did with my programming. 
  • The dismantleling of pillars of meaning had me end up in crisis exactly as Emely tells about in her speech.

As a former teacher and now a president of a no profit organization ( www.kidlink.org )   that leads school projects with the purpose to enhance a global dialog among youth,  I can not avoid thinking about our youth.

I think it is important for our youth to help them 

  1. avoid and get rid of phobias. as these causes stress
  2. develope cooperation
  3. get fulfilled within themselves
  4. understand the value of relationship and collaboration (the pillar of belonging  and not let  theirpillars of purposes and transcendence dismantle theirpillar of belonging.
  5. get free from previous  traumas that have been hidden in their subconscious (this is part of the Buddhist psychology.  )
  6. to not hunt happiness that wont really make them happy
  7. To find at least one  pillar of meaning of life
  8. where “meaning comes from belonging to and serving something beyond yourself and from developing the best within you.”
  9. not feel alone and enter relationships as a free will and not as an escape from lonelyness
  10. If they wish and want to spend time for it, look for sane  relationships without dependencies
  11. relationships with genuine love as Tenzin defines it,
  12. get relationships where  they are valued for who they are, like Emily said in her speech

Another research about happiness came to the conclusion that belonging is the most important pillar to make you happy with one exception:

  • Good relationships keep us happier and healthier
  • social connections are really good for us, 
  • loneliness kills
  • it’s the quality of your close relationships that matters
  • High-conflict marriages, for example, without much affection, turn out to be very bad for our health
  • The people who were the most satisfied in their relationships at age 50 were the healthiest at age 80
  • good relationships don’t just protect our bodies, they protect our brains
  • The people in our 75-year study who were the happiest in retirement were the people who had actively worked to replace workmates with new playmates.
  • The good life is built with good relationships

Introduction

I read the and wrote about the autobiography of Giordano Bruno by Drewerman. Giordano Bruno was terribly upset with the Church. He wrote 1599 this about a carmelitan priori:

“that carmelitan priori – that is corfirmed by his title – has for sure been set on earth before the human being was allowed to use the reason” .

On the same page he wrote his last prayer:

“Even if long after my death , please God, a second time, on this earth of darkness, pronounce your powerful verb:” 

“Let there be light”

For some reason I stumbled on the words sapere aude and wrote this article. I understood much later that Giordano Bruno was really the first illuminist ever, living long before Kant.

The Bible about man and God

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

So God created mankind in his own image,
    in the image of God he created them;
    male and female he created them.   (  Genesis+1:26-28 )

What is an image of God? I presume it is that we have been given a consciousness, a reason,  a free will with  the hability to love, pardon our next and be good shepherds. ( John+10 )

Whe have been given a brain, A gift we must take care of, like we have to take care of all the gifts God gave us ( “rule over fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals”).  (  genesis/1-26.htm  )

So I think that we must get acquainted with the gifts of God, the Creation of God and the rule of this game, this earthly life. 

Like Giordano bruno said “Studying the infinite of the Universe we walk over the bridge to understand the infinite of God.

In the Romans 1:20-22 you can read this about God:

For his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made,  even his eternal power and Godship”

In James 4:8 you read that

“Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you”

A conclusion of Romans 1:20 and James 4:8 is for me

“Study YHWHs (=Gods) Creation and gifts and you draw close to God And hopefully YHWH has time to draw close to me helping me in my searches.

« L’Illuminismo è l’uscita dell’uomo dallo stato di minorità che egli deve imputare a se stesso. Minorità è l’incapacità di valersi del proprio intelletto senza la guida di un altro. Imputabile a se stessa è questa minorità, se la causa di essa non dipende da difetto di intelligenza, ma dalla mancanza di decisione e del coraggio di far uso del proprio intelletto senza essere guidati da un altro. “Sapere aude!” Abbi il coraggio di servirti della tua propria intelligenza! Kants answer In German:

“Aufklärung ist der Ausgang des Menschen aus seiner selbst  verschuldeten Unmündigkeit. Unmündigkeit ist das Unvermögen, sich seines Verstandes ohne Leitung eines anderen zu bedienen. Selbstverschuldet ist diese Unmündigkeit, wenn die Ursache derselben nicht am Mangel des Verstandes, sondern der Entschließung und des Muthes liegt, sich seiner ohne Leitung eines andern zu bedienen. “sapere aude!” habe Muth dich deines eigenen Verstandes zu bedienen! Giordano Bruno “Dared to think for himself ” and died for it! He wrote december 1599, in his autobiography page 37 this last prayer of his life:
