2. A unpleasant start

We are approaching December 25.   The birth of Jesus is followed by problems.

Matthew1:19   says:

“Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly”

Joseph was  thinking about exposing Mary  to public disgrace with a divorce but he had according to Matthew1:20 a revealing dream:

20 He had made up his mind to do this when suddenly the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, ‘Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because she has conceived what is in her by the Holy Spirit.

Joseph got that saving dream. But Marys and Josephs neighbors? probably not.

Let us move to Nazareth were this probably happened and imagine yourself outisde your house. there you met  the  beautiful young girl neighbor of yours since many years and you see that she is pregnant.  She is yet not married. What   the first question you probably will ask is….

“Who is the father of the baby?”

2000 years ago the tollerance was not like it is today. Not only.

the rule followed at that time, was among others

Deuteronomy 22:20. Imagine a girl who was raped. Deuteronomy makes no distinction. it simply says 20 “But if the accusation that the girl cannot show evidence of virginity is substantiated, 21 she must be taken out, and at the door of her father’s house her fellow-citizens must stone her to death for having committed an infamy in Israel “. To remember that not all girls bleed the first time they had sex.

How about Jesus?

Joseph saved Mary thanks to the dream he had. But what can happen with the baby, in this case Jesus?

Deuteronomy 23:2  says that 3 “No half-breed may be admitted to the assembly of Yahweh; not even his descendants to the tenth generation may be admitted to the assembly of Yahweh.”

The newborn (Jesus) is to be  repudiated.

1. the stargazers finding Jesus

we are approaching December 25. This is excerpt 1 from  a  page about Jesus I am working with and will publish after Easter 2019.

The stargazers

The word stargazers is found in many parts of the Bible. So the arrival of a man like Jesus must have been announced with astral signs too.

Matthew 2:1-2 told about the wise men who were startgazers,  in his story of Jesus birth.

1 After Jesus had been born at Bethlehem in Judaea during the reign of King Herod, suddenly some wise men came to Jerusalem from the east 2 asking, ‘Where is the infant king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose and have come to do him homage.”

We know there was a comet visible 5 ad ( )
Matthew 2:1-2  knowing for sure about this event, was suported by the book of Micah as Micah prophesied about Betlehem in Micah 5:2 with these words:
1 “But you (Bethlehem) Ephrathah, the least of the clans of Judah, from you will come for me a future ruler of Israel whose origins go back to the distant past, to the days of old.”
the star (ed. comet) led the kings to Betlehem (  )

The birth of Jesus.

Noone knows however thje exact date when Jesus was born. The Gospel or secular texts gives an approximate date of birth to be between  between 6 BC and 4 BC

Most scholars assume a date of birth between 6 BC and 4 BC based on the known death of Herod 4 bC and the date of the comet mentioneed above.

Why December 25

according to Luke Jesus was born when :

8 In the countryside close by there were shepherds out in the fields keeping guard over their sheep during the watches of the night.”  ( Luke 2:7-8 ).

As can be read in December 25 is a unlikely date for Jesus birthbecause of the cold climate in Israel in December. More probable is that December may have been the date of jesus conception and the birth of Jesus in September as the “were shepherds out in the fields” at the birth of Jesus.

The date December 25 was set by the Catholic church in the Gregorian calendar. The Gregorian calendar signed 1582 “resulted from a perceived need to reform the method of calculating dates of Easter.” (Source: )

There are two reason for the choice of December 25

  1. .”December 25 may have been selected due to its proximity to the winter solstice, because of its theological significance. After the solstice, the days begin to lengthen with more sunlight, which Christians see as representing the Light of Christ entering the world.”
  2. (Source:  )
  3. 25 December might be a reference to the date of the Feast of the Dedication, which occurs on the 25 Kislev of the Jewish calendar. This would require that early Christians simply translated Kislev directly to December.” (May be a speculation in as no source is given there )

0. Virgin Marys conception 20181208

December 8

at the >Sunday Mass we listened to Luke 1:26-38

that  tells about how Angel Gabriel came to virgin Mary to tell that she will have  a baby.

I will in this post talk about the implications of this miracle of God.

Lukes story

illustration below made by Gustave Doré

Luke writes: “26 In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, 27 to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the House of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. 28 He went in and said to her, ‘Rejoice, you who enjoy God’s favour! he Lord is with you.’ 29 She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself what this greeting could mean, 30 but the angel said to her, ‘Mary, do not be afraid; you have won God’s favour.

31 Look! You are to conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David; 33 he will rule over the House of Jacob for ever and his reign will have no end.’

The angel explains how this will happen:

34 Mary said to the angel, ‘But how can this come about, since I have no knowledge of man?’ 35 The angel answered, ‘The Holy  spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God.

Then the angel tells about Marys cousin that also will have a son despite her high age and Mary said thereafter  that she accept this to happen.

Mary – above all the women of the worlds?

I were surprised that Mary according to the Quran is the
“above all the women of the worlds.” This has never been said in the Gospel even if Mary is the object of prayer like in  “Ave Maria“.

Maryam written in Quranic Arabic, Quran 2:87 )

There is no reason to write my own text about Mary when there is a very good one  at Wiki. a text I know is  checked and verified by many Wiki editors. I choose take acopy of it and add a few links

“Mary (Arabic: مريم‎, translit. Maryam), the mother of Jesus (Isa), holds a singularly exalted place in Islam as the only woman named in the Quran, which refers to her 94 times and explicitly identifies her as the greatest of all women,  stating, with reference to the angelic salutation during the annunciation,(Source: Wikipedia)

Quran 3:42  says:

“O Mary, God has chosen you, and purified you; He has chosen you above all the women of creation.”

The nineteenth chapter of the scripture, titled “Mary” (Surat  19 ,Maryam ), is named after her. The Quran refers to Mary more often than in the New Testament.

The choosen woman

According to the Quran, divine grace surrounded Mary from birth, and, as a young woman, she received a message from God through the archangel Gabriel (See the illustration above made by Gustave Doré in a  Jibril book from 1877 ) that God had chosen her, purified her, and had preferred her above all “the women of the worlds.”( Qur’an 3:42  )

Annunciation of a child according to the Quran

This event, according to the same narrative, was followed by the annunciation of a child (ed. See miniature above) who was to be miraculously conceived by her through the intervention of the divine spirit while she was still virgin, whose name would be Jesus and who would be the “anointed one,” the Promised Messiah.”

This is in direct opposition with the fact that the Quran 112:3 says that God “neither begets nor is born”. In Arabic written as

biological implications of a conceival

Perisan miniature with Mary and Jesus (Soure: Wiki )

To understand the magnitude of this miracle of God, one has to know that “The human genome contains approximately 3 billion of … base pairs, which reside in the 23 pairs of chromosomes within the nucleus of all our cells.” (Source: ) Presuming  that Jesus got half of the DNA from Mary (Source:  ) ,God created in a egg in Marys  fallopian tube about1.5 billion base pairs exactly ordered to become a readable code for half of  the proteins  (10.000) Jesus body needed to function normally.

Look at this Youtube video to understand how the DNA code is read and used to produce proteins.

Event that is almost unbelievable

The conceiving of Jesus  is a miracle  so incredible that  it is not strange that many human beings with a minimum of Biology knowledges,  have difficulties to accept and believe in the story of virgin Mary giving birth to a boy.

Panthera rape theory –
Mary raped by a Roman soldier?

Jonas Gardell writes in his book “About Jesus” that this miraculous pregnancy  probably is a invention by the apostles “to throw off the stigma of Jesus having a Roman soldier as a father and to prove that Jesus was God.”  Read more about this in

I got this picture as Jesus in many paintings and statues does not look like a Jew at all but  like  a blond and blue eyed  Roman. But for sure the paintings and statues are results of immagination.

How God could achieve this miracle?

I can myself not find an answer with my knowledges about Quantum physics i wrote about in  my article about the Quantum God

About the creation of Adam I came to a answer I described
in my  Enlightened genesis. But for the “creation” of Jesus I am still knocking on a door with noone home.

Muslims indirectly support the  Panthera rape theory  as the Quran 112:3 says that God is one and GOD  neither begets nor is born.

Another  hypothesis I have   is that God may have  fertilized a egg in Mary with a sperm from Joseph like many women do IVT ? This would imply that Jesus would become very similar to Joseph.

I personally believe that God can do anything, even a incredible miracle like that with Mary.

I can at the same time not think of a God that would allow a Roman soldier to rape a young woman for its own purpose that is, to have a body to add his Spirit into. So I am reluctant for the Panthera rape theory.
