Recognize our frailties to grow with God

At Catholic Mass,  today Mark 10,2-16 is read.  He said among others about Moses divorce commandment:

“For your hardness of heart,
he wrote you this commandment.

He mentions Genesis 1:24 and Genesis 2:27 saying that God made “man and woman  one flesh.”
This has been interpreted by the Catholic church that man and woman can not divorce after marriage. Does a  paper make a woman and man one flesh? I would say that a man and woman become one flesh when they get children together with or without a paper signed by a clerk.

How many have not been stoned to death because of adultery? Has not Moses written the adultery commandment also for our hardness of heart? or lack of heart?

Certainly, a father and mother should remain together somehow to take care of their children. But does this mean that you must sleep in the same bed?

Don’t you take better care of your children, being collaborative friends than a married pair, not loving each other?

There is no reason to live together if one does not love the other.

Pope Francis inspired me in his Angelus today, to the title of this post.

The texts

.Mark 10,2-16 says:

10:2 Pharisees came to him testing him, and asked him, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?”
10:3 He answered, “What did Moses command you?”
10:4 They said, “Moses allowed a certificate of divorce to be written, and to divorce her.”
10:5 But Jesus said to them, “For your hardness of heart, he wrote you this commandment.
10:6 But from the beginning
of the creation, God made them male and female.
10:7 For this cause a man will
leave his father and mother, and will join
to his wife,
10:8 and the two will become
one flesh, so that they are no longer two,
but one flesh.
0:9 What therefore God has
joined together, let no man separate.”
10:10 In the house, his disciples asked him again about the same matter.
10:11 He said

to them, “Whoever divorces his wife, and marries another, commits adultery against her.
10:12 If a woman herself divorces
her husband, and marries another, she
commits adultery.”
10:13 They were bringing to him little children, that he should touch them, but the disciples rebuked those who were bringing them.
10:14 But when Jesus saw it, he was
moved with indignation, and said to them, “Allow the little children to come to me! Don’t forbid them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
10:15 Most
certainly I tell you, whoever will not receive the Kingdom of God like a little
child, he will in no way enter into it.”

10:16 He took them in his arms, and blessed them, laying his hands on them

10:6 Genesis 1:27
10:8 Genesis 2:24

The message

10:5 But Jesus said to them, “For your hardness of heart, he wrote you this commandment.

Pope Francis focused today on another aspect that inspired me to a different title of this post.

His speech reminds me of the speech of Anna Pia Viola, who talked about the justice of God compared to that of human beings
