God make miracles with Jesus and have us get NDE.

.

INTRODUCTION

Today Sunday, February 7, 2021, Job 7,1-4.6-7 and Marc 1,29-39 are read. “Jesus went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath day he entered into the synagogue and taught.” As Pope Francis said today during his Angelus in Rome “If we are to be superior to our next so it is by helping suffering people” like Jesus did.

The text of Job made me think about life after death as witnessed by many who had NDE. NDE that the Catholic church never talks about despite nuns never visit their dead sisters at their graves.

The text

Job 7:7 says:

6. My days are swifter than a weaver’s shuttle;
they come to an end without hope.

7. Remember that my life is like the wind; I shall not see happiness again.

Marc 1,29-39 says:

1:21 They went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath day he entered into the synagogue and taught.
1:22 They were astonished at his teaching, for he taught them as having authority, and not as the scribes.
1:23 Immediately there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out,
1:24 saying, “Ha! What do we have to do with you, Jesus, you Nazarene? Have you come to destroy us? I know you who you are: the Holy One of God!”
1:25 Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!”
1:26 The unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying with a loud voice, came out of him.
1:27 They were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, “What is this? A new teaching? For with authority, he commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him!”
1:28 The report of him went out immediately everywhere into all the region of Galilee and its surrounding area.
1:29 Immediately, when they had come out of the synagogue, they came into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.

The message

Job 7:7 says:

6. My days are swifter than a weaver’s shuttle;
they come to an end without hope.

7. Remember that my life is like the wind; I shall not see happiness again.

Job did not know about NDE experiences.  I wrote before about NDE in http://www.kinberg.net/wordpress/stellan/2020/11/04/9390/

All testimonies about NDE from Dr Ross Kubler to Bruce Greyson, prof emeritus, Division at perceptual studies, Psychiatry and neurobehavioral sciences, tell that life does not end with death.

Jesus said about according to Matthew 9:24
 “Go away. The girl is not dead but asleep.”
They laugh at him and many still do today when they hear about NDE.

I have not had NDE but I feel that those of mine, my mother, father, and friends who died, are not far away. I feel to have them with me like the NDE witnesses met people and saw what hospital rescue personnel did with their bodies during brain and heart arrest.

Like Greyson said “NDE experiences challenges the idea that our consciousness, our minds are created by the brain”

conclusion

As NDE are well documented as well as unexplainable, so could some of Jesus’ miracles be true,  Jesus did not want to make miracles but he for sure knew the effect of these in the spreading of his kerygma in the Roman empire around the Mediterranean sea. With this in mind, God may have contributed.
I presume that it is God that make these miracles with Jesus’ request and prayer somewhat how Muslims say.
