Introduction
I wrote this article October 2017 and I made a few bigger updates since then among others changeing the title..
I read about the near death testimonials documented by Dr Ross some 20 years ago. I later became interested in what different holy books tell about afterlife. Now I am back to this issue with more knowledge and insight. And I added a few words about death and reincarnation.
This post has been updated with testimonial from Stanislav Grof and facts about Anna Franks Swedish girl reincarnation and a new conclusion with a possible explanation of the possibilities of reincarnation.

Suicide instead of seeking forgivness
The most famous suicide was that of Judas. About his betrayal “instead of repenting and seeking forgiveness after betraying Christ, he allowed the great burden of sin to lead him to this terrible end. (Matt. 27:3-4)
Burt we all read that God is most forgiving. God would have fiorgotten Judas too.
According to Islam, God can not allow you to enter Heaven if you committed suicide.
For me life is a gift, even if painful. What do you do with the gift you got from a friend? Tear it apart and trow it out of the window? So should we not do with our body. But I can understand those who choose to end their life with euthanasia in Swizerland. Some life conditions and pains are indeed horrible and difficult to live. And God is for sure merciful in such terminal cases.
We will all die but we must let nature have its track. And in our afterlife we should be able to say “I did my best and did well”
Life is a gift and has a meaning
Giordano Bruno in his autobiography page 23. “Everything is necessary in Nature…” “Everyone, evil man or saint has to do what he knows to do. All creatures have a meaning, god and bad”
In the Bible you read about the animals, plants and men:
“And God went on to make the wild animals of the earth according to their kinds and the domestic animals according to their kinds and all the creeping animals of the ground according to their kinds. let them have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and the domestic animals and all the earth and every creeping animal that is moving on the earth.
Then God said: “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness, and let them have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and the domestic animals and all the earth and every creeping animal that is moving on the earth.” ( Genesis 1:25-26 )
And about how we should subdue the animals is discussed by jw.org
We should not destroy nature, cutting down the wood etc as the nature gives food to the animals.
And in Genesis you read that God said: “Here I have given to you every seed-bearing plant that is on the entire earth and every tree with seed-bearing fruit. Let them serve as food for you. And to every wild animal of the earth and to every flying creature of the heavens and to everything moving on the earth in which there is life, I have given all green vegetation for food. ( Genesis 1:29-30 )
The meaning of life in the Bible is defined by the rules jesus reminded us about, like love your next, your neighbor, enemies and persecutors .
Michio Kaku: “You have to define your own meaning. Getting it from above is to easy.”
Every human is unique and has unique potentials. Not everyone is able to “love his/her enemie .
Doing good is not defined in the Bible as loving the creatures and plants on earth. The Buddhists include the animals in their definition of being good as animals may be reincarnation of humans.
Michio Kaku “Everyone must find its own meaning. For me it is that we leave earth in a better state.”
the purpose in life is to “be among those who renew the world. To make the world progress towards perfection iIts basic maxims include: Humata, Hukhta, Huvarshta, which mean: Good Thoughts, Good Words, Good Deeds.” ( wiki )
Scan from my Zarathustras holy songs book song 47, vers 1-3
Quran about behavior in this life
Among others it says: “And argue not with the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), unless it be in (a way) that is better (with good words and in good manner, ( Quran 29:46 )(
Do not behave like a hypocrite: “And among the bedouins around you, some are hypocrites …” Quran 5:11 )
Practice what you preach “Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: “The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. ” ( Matthew 23 )
About hypocricy “So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets” ( Matthew 6:2 )
Buddhism about life
To have a good life and also reach enlightment you should follow these paths. Read more about the eight fold path to enlightenment
“but the dead know nothing at all nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten. Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they no longer have any share in what is done under the sun” ( Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10 )
About the death of Jesus friend Lazarus, Jesus said “he is sleeping”
Biocentrism about death and afterlife
Death is like a sleeping as Jesus said according to ( John 11:11-13 ):
“Laza·rus our friend has fallen asleep, but I am traveling there to awaken him.” The disciples then said to him: “Lord, if he is sleeping, he will get well.” Jesus, however, had spoken about his death.!”
About death is confimed in Ecclesiastes:
“For the living know* that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all,g nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten… and they no longer have any share in what is done under the sun” ( Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 )
So, according to the Bible, when we die, we go into a sleep we can be awaken from at a resurrection to come.
BIocentrists have their own opinions about life and death.
Universe thst is a creation of our consciousness is one of them.
Morgan Freeman searched information about human beings belief about death and afterlife around the world in his video “The story of God”.
Death doesnt exist according to Biocentrism.

The resurrection to come
Credo:
“”Professo un solo Battesimo
per il perdono dei peccati.
Aspetto la risurrezione dei morti
e la vita del mondo che verrà.”
Amen.” ( Italian Source : www.preghieracontinua.org )
“there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Acts 24:15 )
The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it” ( Psalm 37:29.)
“This is the first resurrection. Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority” . ( Revelation 20:6 )
“Most truly I say to you, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who have paid attention will live.” (John 5:25)
John had this vision of the resurrection:
“And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened. But another scroll was opened; it is the scroll of life. The dead were judged out of those things written in the scrolls according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead in it, and death and the Grave* gave up the dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds.” ( Revelation 20:12, 13. )
The resurrection is discussed in https://www.gotquestions.org
“This later resurrection will be to life on earth, which the vast majority of those brought back to life will enjoy.—Psalm 37:29.” (Source: www.jw.org)
“those resurrected to life on earth receive a healthy physical body, completely sound” but not the same body as before as that body is “broken down and disintegrated”
According to John , Jesus said also that you go where Jesus is, if you have faith:
“Exercise faith in God exercise faith also in me. In the house of my Father are many dwelling places. Otherwise, I would have told you, for I am going my way to prepare a place for you. Also, if I go my way and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will receive you home to myself, so that where I am you also may be.” (John 14:1 )
The 2 Hadith 47 says:
“Narrated Abu Huraira: One day while the Prophet was sitting in the company of some people, (The angel) Gabriel came and asked, “What is faith?” Allah’s Apostle replied, ‘Faith is to believe in Allah, His angels, (the) meeting with Him, His Apostles, and to believe in resurrection….”
This means if I understand this well, that those e.g atheists who have done good deeds in this life will have the possibility to resurrect, do well and get ethernal life.
How many dead humans are ready to be resurrected?
If the resurrection would occur today how many dead will be resurrected with a a healthy physical body, completely sound” ?
http://www.prb.org says 108 billions.
I made my own calculation.
assuming that
- the dead that will not be resurrected are just some dozens,
- the world population dies every 100 year and
- counting from the time of Christ (e.g. year 0) with the
World Population by Year fully tabulated
I come to the conclusion that a minimum of 5.525.000.000 dead would be resurrected with immortal bodies to find themselves on a Earth with another 7.632.819.325 humans with natural bodies. The earth would suddenly have to feed temporarily 13.157.819.325 humans during about 100 years ( as they will die of with time). I imagine that a lot of humans with natural ageing bodies would ask themselves why they couldn’t have died before that resurrection day.
So what’s about those human believers with ageing bodies who had the unluck to be alive the resurrection day?
Not only, these resurrected would have to learn how the world works after their long sleep, especcialy those who died almost 2000 years ago.
My Google Calc is readable in Google drive with this public link
Miracles happened before. I wonder about the confusion on our already overpopulated earth and among those resurrected who never saw cars, trains nor airplanes, a new world.
If this resurrection was really planned as we understand it from the texts, I wonder how this will work out.
Next life after resurrection
“those resurrected to life on earth receive a healthy physical body, completely sound” but not the same body as before as that body is “broken down and disintegrated” (Source: www.jw.org)
Psalm 37:29 says: “The righteous will possess the earth,iAnd they will live forever on it!
A buddhist I remember said “The bed you prepare in this live is the bed you will sleep in, in your next life”. With “next life” I undersood it as the life after death. Now I understand it like this:
“The bed you prepare in this live
is the bed you will sleep in, in your life after resurrection”
Afterlife
“The soul remains in the vicinity of the body for three days and nights after the person has passed away.
At the dawn of the fourth day, the soul is guided to the bridge of judgment and separation, chinvat peretum (later called chinvat pol) by the person’s discerning beliefs (daena) – beliefs that have formed the underpinnings of the person’s thoughts, words and deeds. If the beliefs were those that led to good thoughts, words and deeds, daena becomes a beautiful guide. If the beliefs had led to evil thoughts, words and deeds, daena becomes as ugly as the person’s beliefs – an ugly harbinger of the fate the soul will soon face (cf. Yasht 22).”
“While on this earth, the soul had the freedom and opportunity to chose the nature of its spirit and a person’s every thought, word and deed. In other words, it had control over its destiny in the after-life through its body’s ability to think, speak and act. When separated from the body after death, the soul no longer has the opportunity to influence its destiny. That fate will be decided when it reaches the bridge of the requiter – the chinvat bridge. To use an old metaphor, when in the world of the living, the soul makes its bed upon which it will sleep in the afterlife. ”
the chinvat bridge(ed. to afterlive) is constructed over a lifetime of attaining wisdom and goodness.

Contacts with afterlife – is it possible?
“Human personality” by Frederic Meyer.
FredrikMeyer was a very special man.
Frederic Meyer said he planned to try to get in touch with humans from his afterlife dimension.
The scole experiment is an example.
medium and talking with dead people. See and judge.
Non religious views about afterlife.
Read “On life after death” by Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
hell and reincarnation. ”
Michio Kaku is also thinking about afterlife in this video
Stanislav Grof is a Czech psychiatrist, one of the founders of the field of transpersonal psychology and a researcher into the use of non-ordinary states of consciousness.
He reports among others that born blind see after death.
he describes in page 25 and 26 the antique views about afterlifeh how it is described among others in the Tibetan “book of the dead”. I choose to take page 27 from the book “attraversando il Bardo” by Franco Battiato to, translated it with Google translate and corrected it: He writes:
For example we have repeatedly observed people in states of near-death brought back to life during an operation – and when this happens their conscience abandons bodies and they can observe far from the body – they can observe the situation, with a sort of detached interest, and can actually travel to other places, in a way very similar to the so called “Bardo body” in the Tibetan Book of the Dead. Now, we have research that shows us that what these bodyless consciences perceive actually happens, and can be validated consciously. Kenneth Ring’s studies of individuals born blind for congenital reasons show that people who have never seen anything because their visual system was organically damaged, when their consciousness leaves the body can see nothing. And Ring is very interested in what he calls veritable extracorporeal experiences. Not only do these individuals see something, but it is exactly what others see.”
REINCARNATION
Virginia University Perceptual Studies has dedicated a lot of time and effort in analyzing the report about reincarnation that have became viral the latest years. I dedicate this section to two cases hat are especcially interesting, the cases of James Lenninger>Huston and Anna Frank>Barbro.
James Huston reincarnated as James Leininger
Another story is that about Manika. Even if a nice story, I have not find other sources telling about Manika. A similar story about Shanti Devi that even engaged Mahatma Gandhi, is however known. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7IK6OoU6SI
May the Buddhist view be the right? Read more about the Buddhist wheel of life in http://www.kinberg.net/buddhism/#Samsara
One good video presenting scientific studies of supposed reincarnation is found in https://youtu.be/9w2MCpzE8u0?t=1m1s
I did not know the case of Anna Franks reincarnation presented in this video ( https://youtu.be/9w2MCpzE8u0?t=5m45s )
What facts are documented in this video:
- Barbro, a girl, born 1954 in Sweden was baptized by her Christian parents with the name of Barbro
- 2 years old she told her parents that her real name was Anna, not Barbro
- The diary of Ann Frank had yet not been published in Sweden 1956.
- The parents insisted on calling her Babro and themsselves as mam and pa
- Barbro knew they were not her real parents and that her real name was not Barbro
- 10 years old they went to Amsterdam where Anna Franks house is located.
- At the hotel she said to her father they did not need a cab as they were not far away from Anna Franks house.
- She said she knew were the house was.
- She guided her parents to Anna Franks house in 10 minutes walk.
- At the house she saw that they had changed the exterior stair.
- Inside the house she had horryfying feelings.
- In her rooms she saw in her immagination, the movie star images she once cut out from newspapers.
- But the images had been taken down as people touched and stealed these. The guardians explained.
- The parents understood after this that she had memories from a past time.
“Reincarnation believes do not hold water”
Video with Abdul Ghani Jahangeer tells more about it.
Whatever is true, the testimonials shared by UVA are astonishing.
As Abdul Ghani Jahangeer present reincarnation as happening for leaders who commited crimes and sins, it does of course not “hold water” as he says. We know only about Dalai Lama as a reincarnated leader. Most cases are about normal peoples like wifes, a pilot etc.
Abdul take inspiration from the Quran, were reincarnation is in terms of “twise” in case of sinners. ut we do not know the real devine mechanisms behind reincarnation. If sins committed by leader would be the reason for reincarnation, then I presume we would one day have leaders like Hitler, Stalin reincarnated. Noone can turn the story back and no reincarnated human can give relief to all the victims of these leaders crimes.
hat decides however you will be reincarnated or not, is however not known. Buddhists have their opinion, others like our Muslim brother Kanat Eleyon talk about reincarnation if you are a bad leader in this world. It is up to you to believe whatever. We have maybe to wait to walk over the bridge to really get knowledge about this issue.
As I always say, behave like a good men loving your next and you should not be afraid.
We do not know what is making some to be apparently reincarnated while most according to Christian believes and holy books are waiting for a resurrection with a long sleep.
Anna Frank with her horrible experiences during the holocaust truly deserved a Saints aferlife in paradise. But for some reason she were allowed to come back on Earth in a quite peaceful country like Sweden reincarnated as Barbro. Maybe was it to help her clean out horrible memories she didnt deserve as a child? Maybe was it to allow her to experience the resurrection of her parents she lost in the concentration camp? We can not know.
Maybe God gives the souls of some of our dead ones, this possibility.
A buddhist once said “How you prepare your bed in this life, you will sleep in your next life” Next life can be a life after death or reincarnation as buddhists believe it or a life after resurrection as Christian believes it. However it it, it seems to me to be a good idea to be a good human in this life.
I personally do my best following Jesus rules “love your enemie” not judgeing my next, be useful for and loving other humans, to hopefully have a good afterlife or resurrection and… And I do my best to live as long as possible to met again with my mother and met my grandfather I never met as he died when I were 5 years old..
