The Evolution of Universe and atoms


About the evolution of the universe in myth and sacred books
Mankind has for millennia been wondering where we come from. Where have all the animals come from? How has all the seas and mountains arisen?
Just as long as Homo sapiens sapiens existed, there has probably been myths about creation. And not just one but many myths in different parts of the world.
In Mesopotamia (today’s Iraq) was a creation myth Enuma Elish, who explains that in the beginning there was darkness and later the lights, earth and ultimately humans. Creation myth of Adapa tells of a serpent God called Ningishzida. In another creation myth Atrahasis story of creation, and later on a great flood. All these myths are translated today from 5,000-year-old clay tablets.

4,000 years ago Genesis existed in oral form. The first written versions came 3000 years ago in three different versions. 2500 agreed on a version and parts of it were found in the Dead Sea Scrolls. To the right is the first part of Genesis inscribed on an egg.

What says Genesis? 

Genesis Says nothing about how it all began.

But The Gospel of John starts like this: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” but John wrote in Greek the word “Logos”

Nothing existed then. Neither time nor space, matter or energy. Genesis continues:

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, That it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Georges Lemaitre was a Catholic priest from Belgium who as a priest most probably had to believe in the words of Genesis. But he was also a mathematician and astronomer and refused to accept other astronomers theorize that the universe always existed.

At this time, Hubble telescope observation showed that galaxies were moving a part from each other.

I thought his curiosity was probably driven by his faith, I read somewere he  denied that. During his work, he received a lot of criticism of, among others Einstein and other physicists. After a lot of counting, he came up with a theory in which all began with a “cosmic egg”. Other physicists who did not believe in him, joked and called his theory of the Big Bang.

Einstein said that “Lemaitre was a good mathematician, but a lousy astronomer.” Einstein believed that the universe has become static and that the universe is not expanding anymore. But Einstein had to step back! Lemaitre and to some extent, Genesis must be right! BIGBANG was proven mathematically.

Big Bang story is really the same as the story of the nucleosynthesis where bigger and bigger nuclei are created with time from the smallest hydrogen nuclei, protium, deuterium and tritium at the beginning,  to the biggest uranium after a supernova.

  1. Before the Big Bang there was nothing. No time. No room. No mass. No forces. You may think of the number 0 (zero)Big Bang 14 billion years ago: something infinitely small, infinitely hot.   2. In a few microseconds grow this small point like a balloon. Inside the balloon is the universe. In this small universe formed elementar particles like protons and neutrons and later on electrons. Outside the balloon is still nothing, neither time nor room.036 029 YUSUFALI: “It was but one Saihah (shout) and lo! they (all) were still (silent,dead,destroyed).
  3. The universe grows into something huge. <protons and neutrons form hydrogen and helium molecules.
  4. The universe grows and hydrogen molecules form huge clouds, nebulae.

  5. The universe continues to grow but higher and higher speeds. In hydrogen clouds formed the first hydrogen-stars. In the stars formed new light atoms of helium until iron. Heavier atoms such as gold can not be formed in the stars.

  6. 500 million years after the Big Bang pulls the first stars of the nebulae and form the first galaxies.
  7. In galaxies created more hydrogen-stars.
  8. Stars die after a few billion years. The largest stars (at least 5 time bigger  than our sun) die by supernova explosions.

In supernovae formed clouds of heavy nuclei, which are heavier than iron, such as gold, silver, lead, uranium.

On the right you can see a small part of the spread of dust after BIGBANG. Click on it. Concentration areas became galaxies with nebulae and stars. This shows why the galaxies are spread as they are. Then after BIGBANG became the dust of spread in the Universe.

Today, there are newer and more modern telescopes on earth. Subaru is an infrared telescope that is on top of the 4,000 meter-high crater Mount Mauna Kea in Hawaii. With Subaru was found in 2006 a galaxy that is 12.88 billion years old. The galaxy you see, then, from 500 million years after the Big Bang.

The universe is expanding faster and faster

There are at least 50,000 trillion trillion stars (50 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 stars). That is 1,000 times more stars than there are grains of sand on our planet all the beaches. Around many of these are planets. Are we alone? Subaru team has found a planet to be around a star that is 450 light years from here. (Link)

The universe is still expanding. In one hour, everything in the universe to move at least 1.6 million kilometers. The speed accelerear. This has been going sen universe creation.

Albert Einstein has helped develop Lemaitres learn about the universe. He had a theory that the universe “bounce” from the infinitely small to the infinitely big, and then back. The acceleration would stop and everything would start to go back to where it all began. If the theory is true, it means that the universe has always existed, as he first thought.

Two astronomers, Robert Woodrow Wilson and Arno Allan Penzias studied the remains of Bigbang can be seen as microwaves and concluded that these waves were different spread in the same way as the galaxies.
